i would like to take this opportunity to recommend Dr. Ahad Mahootchi to anyone who is considering cataract surgery and lens replacement.. I needed cataract and lens replacement surgery and happened to mentioned it to my golfing partner he informed me that he had the same surgery right here in our hometown of Zephyrhills florida at the Eye Clinic of Florida and he was completely satisfied with his results, of course you can't be dissatisfied with 20/20 vison. It was also quite a relief to know there was a facility right here at home with these capabilities.T called the Eye Clinic of Florida and made an appointment and met Dr. Mahootchi and his very professional staff. after a through evaluation it was determined that i need the surgery.it was at this time that i was introduced to the crysralens which i opted for I now have both eyes with crystalens and could not be happier with the results.Thank you Dr. Mahootchi for your outstanding skills and also for your wonderful staff and facalities.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes by Dr. Mahootchi at The Eye Clinic of Florida in Zephyrhills, FL. I have been going to Dr. Mahootchi for several years for my eye care. The support staff was very caring and friendly. They informed you of everything they were doing. The after surgery care was excellent. They called you at home to check on you and to see if you needed anything. I recommend them very highly.

Pros: Easy to get to. Sufficient parking. Great service. New surgery center.

To date, I am completely happy with thw results of my cataract surgery. I had no idea how bad my vision was and look forward to being able to read small print without glasses in the near future.

I had Laser vision correction with Dr. Mahootchi. I researched different doctors and laser centers and felt very confident with him and his staff. He was very professional and detailed in explaining everything. I drove all the way from South Tampa to have Lasik with Dr. Mahootchi. The procedure went extremely well and I am so happy with the results. Definitely would recommend the Eye Clinic of Florida to anyone looking to have Lasik! I wish I had done this years ago!

I originally went to the Florida Eye Clinic due to an emergency. In an attempt to be seen quickly, I had made several phone calls to other eye clinics in my area. Florida Eye Clinic was very understanding of my dilemma. My initial contact with Florida Eye Clinic was met with concern and empathy. Although never seen in the office before, they told me to come in right away. Dr. Mahootchi examined me and determined that I had shingles in my eye and immediately began treatment. While being treated for shingles a cataract developed, which is not uncommon. Dr. Mahootchi recommended cataract surgery. I was given the option of a Crystalens, which I chose. The moment I had cataract surgery and the implantation of the Crystalens my eyesight was improved drastically! I no longer have to wear glasses. My vision is now 20/20. I would highly recommend Florida Eye Clinic for any eye predicament that may occur. Dr. Mahootchi and his staff are friendly, professional and efficient. THANK YOU Florida Eye Clinic for restoring my sight!!!!!

I was very satisfied with my 2 laser surgeries. One for after- cataract surgery clouding of my lens capsule and the other for floaters. Staff was great. I see much better and my floaters are 95% better. I would recommend Dr. Mahootchi and the Eye Clinic of Florida to anyone in Wesley Chapel or around Tampa.

I recently underwent Crystalens surgery done by Dr. Mahootchi at The Eye Clinic of Florida in Zephyrhills. What a wonderful experience! I am a previous RK patient and the vision in right eye had deteriorated to the point where it was of no use to me whatsoever. That's where Dr. Mahootchi and his team came to my rescue. I live in the Tampa Bay area (Lakeland), but found it well worth my while to travel to Zephyrhills because of the excellent patient care and professional expertise I experienced at the hands of The Eye Clinic of Florida. The Crystalens replacement is usually done for cataracts, but in my case, and others like me, it gave me back the vision I'd lost after previous refractive surgery...I was seeing 20/30 the morning after surgery AND I can now read newsprint without glasses! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and caring...giving me written instructions and clear direction at each office visit. I cannot praise Dr. Mahootchi and his team enough...I feel like I've doubly increased my quality of life now that I can see clearly without the hassle of ever-changing eye glass prescriptions and contact lenses. I have experienced no pain or negative side effects and most definitely recommend the Crystalens surgery (and The Eye Clinic of Florida) to anyone. No matter where you live in Tampa Bay, it's worth the trip to Zephyrhills for cataract surgery, just to deal with this great team of professionals!
