I sarted going to Salon Jack over a year ago. Needed a reasonably priced haircut, I saw the reviews on Citysearch, and I was new to the area, Being from N.Y I went with little expectation. Much to my delight, I met a very talented stylist -Chad- whom I have since become a loyal fan and client. He has given me great cuts over the year. Plus I am often asked where I get my haircut. When I want any type of change, I ask Chad's advice, and he has given me his professional opinion about what looks good and what doesn't. I have complete faith in his talent, and think he is hilarious as well. As for the salon, I have spent a lot more at other places and have been a lot less satisfied. From my point of view, excellent value and talent.

They should change the name of the place to Salon J erk Me Around because that is all they do. I wanted my hair to be cut and colored. They said that they could not do both on the same day dut to religious beliefs. So I decided to just get my hair colored, I wanted it aqua green but they died it a marine green. this fudge up ruined my entire week.

Best salon in St Petersburg in St. Petersburg. Great group of people, cool looking salon., and no attitude. I had a great service at this salon my hair is brilliant and beautiful. Finally found my spot. See you all soon.

Been getting my hair cut by Cassandra for quite some time now, she does an excellent job, very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Pros: very clean, professional, and easy to find location

Cons: there isn't one closer to where i live

I wanted a change bad I had long hair for ever and I wanted something fun and didn't want to look like my mom so I was worried but she is so wild and fun it was awsome I cut alot off but I love it and every where I go people tell they love it too

Pros: it is perfect just what I wanted

I actually booked an appointment at Salon Jack yesterday after finding this site and reading the reviews. I spent much of my adult life going to top salons for cut and color, but since moving to FL 2 1/2 years ago, had not found anyone who could really cut (or color) hair. Honestly, I was a little hesitant because of my experiences, but what did I have to lose - more hair? Pride? Phil was beautiful, nice, AND he gave me an amazing haircut. This is the best haircut - by FAR - that I've had since I've been here. I can't really review the salon adequately, because the best of my experience was all about Phil. He rocks. I will definitely be going back. I have regained my hot mama status with this new haircut. Thanks, Phil!

Pros: Phil, skill, time, attention, beautiful cut

Cons: that I didn't find it sooner

I booked an appointment i hadn't had a professional cut for sometime. I was only in the Bay area here for a few days, and I read many of the reviews for Salon Jack so i decided to give them a try. I was very taken with the staff, and my stylist, Chad. The work that Chad performed was not only brilliant , but his style and work manner helped me relax ( I'M generally very concerned that stylists don't listen to me). I was very impressed with everyone on the staff. I would highly recommend Salon Jack.

Chad cut my hair and he did such a wonderful job. We talked prior to the cut about what my ideas were and he was quick to pick up on my vision, and add a few cool suggestions along the way . I like the way it can be worn straight or curly as I have curly hair. Clay gave me a really good shampoo prior to my hair do. Chad and his salon is Highly recommended on my list.

I highly recommend Chad for a haircut at Salon Jack. He has more experience than anyone I've ever gone to. He was on time, pleasant and detail oriented. I love this haircut; it's so easy! Definately recommended!

Pros: Good location, Talented, focused, Experienced and on time

Cons: You have to schedule way ahead to see him

I am pretty new to the area and had no idea where to go for a haircut and most important a color. I found an ad on craigslist and they had a website . I went to their website and they present themselves as fun and knoeledgeable. I also came here to CitySearch to see if there were any reviews Nicole had a lot of possitive reviews on her. I called them to see about a consultation and possible color. They were able to accomodate me the next day. She complimented me on my hair and told me she would be able to meet my needs. The color came out perfect. I love it. I would highly recommend you try this place if you have no idea where to go. A very clean and fun salon. I will definitely go back.

Pros: great location, personable staff
