We dined with a group of 6 and had an enjoyable time. The restaurant was on a short wait so had a drink at the bar. The service was friendly and quick the food was tasty but not overly done with too much flair, just perfect for a light meal. Not much ambience, but not boring either. Overall good food for the price and a good experience.

If you've been to one, you've been to the other. Although the calamari appetizer was the best I ever had... the crab-stuffed tempura shrimp was lacking. We made reservations and waited 30-45 minutes after we arrived. It wasn't too bad due to the great bar. The local fish was good. But we finished our appetizers before we ever got our silverware!!! The hostess triple sat our waitress. It was sad. All in all, it was nice, and I will take my family when they visit and someone else is paying the exspensive tab!

Pros: Great Calamari, Awesome Atmosphere

Cons: Sloppy Hostess, Too Expensive

The Seafood was amazing! Large plump shrimp, and golden brown calamarri. I had the tempura stuffed shrimp as an appetizer....WOW..it was great! My filet Mignon was tender, juicy and just the right size. Their glazes and sauces are also very very good. Unique. I will definately go back. The service was great. My glass was always full and dishes were cleared off the table promptly. Great Place. Use the VALET parking!

Wow good food here the fish is fresh- hey the ocean is about 10 miles away. You can smell the aromas for blocks Avoid on fri and Sat and dont park near my house in West Chase

Service is superior, all dishes on menu are great! Looking forward in returning. Very romantic and a great place for a first date.

This restaurant is so good. It really is the best seafood restaurant in Tampa Bay. The seafood dishes are the best I've ever tasted. They are really innovative and unique. The flavors when you walk in the door are deliciously overwhelming. I would recommend it to anyone. I also found that they have great chicken, and wonderful steaks!

This has to be one of the finest fish restaurants for quality, value, and service. The staff is attentive, while never being overbearing or intrusive into your conversation or dining. The service and food quality all reflect on exceptional management and training that should be a standard for others to achieve!!! Some points that we noticed that set this restarant apart from others: Listing the location where fish was caught listed on menu Freshness of the fish and impression of hand-selection Nice selection of both fish and beef on menu without being too many choices or too few Beautiful and inviting interior with fresh cut flowers everywhere Attentive and well trained staff Fantastic desserts that seem house-made rather than purchased from a wholesaler Large selection of side dishes to accompany the entree Freshness and perfectly cooked vegetables Linen table clothes and napkins Reasonable prices for atmosphere, service, portions, and quality

Unique dishes are delicious and beautiful! Everytime I eat at Catch 23 it's a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, the food is fresh and tasty and the restaurant has a fun, caribbean flare. Try to come on a friday night when there is live music, but try to make reservations... Catch 23 is always the happening place to be! You have to try the pan-seared scallops, sauteed grouper, macadamia nut encrusted seabass and the stone crab entree. Catch 23 is nestled inside a quaint Westchase shopping center that is sooo cute. You might even want to walk up and down the strip before dinner. I'm addicted... you'll be addicted too!
