RELIABLE, THOROUGH SHOP by JIM M. at InsiderPages

This shop fixed my car after another shop did not. I brought my car to these guys, and initially thought they were wrong in what they found. I had my car fixed at another shop, but had the same problems a few days later. Went back to Bergman's, they did the work they originally quoted, and the car has been fine for a few weeks now. PROBLEM SOLVED! Thanks to Bergman's for putting up with me, I will not be such a jerk next time, I promise.

Very happy with this shop! They are the same as Bergman's International Autoworks. The address shown in some websites is wrong, they are at 112 EDWARDS, NOT 126. These guys fixed my Mercedes Benz overheating problem after another shop failed. 2 weeks now, the problem is gone. Good job! I will use them as my regular shop from now on. They have a little "Smart Car" with their logo on it, they say it should be available as a loaner soon. I give them a thumbs up!!
- Pros: THOROUGH, RELIABLE, WELL TRAINED
- Cons: NOT OPEN SATURDAYS

Good day, I used this shop on the advice of a friend who had been there. Had no trouble finding it, behind the Burger KIng near Parsons and Hwy 60. They looked at my Mercedes and came back with some suggestions. They asked if I was going to keep the car for a while, or get rid of it in the neaqr term. They also asked if it were a lease car, or if I owned it. The advisor explained that he asked these questions because some of the items he would suggest to an owner he would not suggest to a person who would not be keeping the car long, or was just leasing. I liked that. They told me what needed to be fixed in the near future, what I might be budgeting for a little later, and what items were preventative maintainence. I also liked that. I was pleased with the repair and professionalism, and give them my highest rating. I do wish they were open Saturdays, but I can't blame people for wanting some time off.
- Pros: Easy to find, know the cars well, good comunication
- Cons: not open weekends

Have used these guys for several years, and on a BMW, Mercedes Benz, Honda and a Toyota. Have had a consistent positive experience. Twice they had to call me to hold my car for an extra day because they were a bit busy. I give them a good reccomendation, and will continue to use them.
- Pros: consistent, thorough, good communication
- Cons: busy at times
Price shop!!!!!!!!!!!

Found this local shop a little high on repairs. It look like the place is new and had high overhead. Called Auto Works of Brandon and they were priced lower and gave me a longer warranty.
- Pros: New shop
- Cons: High Prices
Worth the trip

My wife and I used this shop for years for our Mercedes, until we moved to Bradenton. After she passed away, I began to bring my Honda back up to them. I feel comfortable there. They can't give me a ride home, but try to get everthing done while I stay at a friend's house. I like the way they take care of me, even though my car is not as nice as most of the cars they work on.
- Pros: Nice guys, really try to help.
- Cons: long drive from Bradenton

I needed some work done on my BMW, found this place on the internet. I had to make an appointment, as they couldn't get me in the same day, but they did give me a ride home when I dropped it off. They called back in a few hours with an estimate, and a few things to plan for in the future. I liked the way it went, had to leave the car for another day to wait for parts. The bill was just what I had expected. I would recommend them, and will go back when I need more work.
- Pros: nice people, good reputation
- Cons: not open weekends

I heard about this place from a few people. The staff is very friendly, and they have many training certificates in their waiting room. I got the feeling they knew what they were doing. They gave me a list of all they saw wrong with my car, showed the items to me in the shop, then helped me prioritize what to do first, within my budget. I was very happy with my BMW when I got it back. Ran ALOT better! I am going back next month to get a few more things done. UPDATE: I have been back twice, once with a Honda, since I posted this review, and have been very pleased. Highly recommended.
- Pros: very professional, very clean, friendly
- Cons: busy, you will need an appointment.
