This is NOT an Irish Pub. It is a beat up College bar with the stench of regurgitated beer that may - in the past - have been a Pub. My bangers were microwaved sausages. The guiness, must have come out of a bottle, and old one. Ugh.. I understand that many Pubs are beat up, but this is nuts... She may have been a pretty girl in the past, but all the 'mileage' has destroyed her. Stay away.. Unless it is Friday night you are too drunk to care about the food and are interested in picking up drunk 22 year old 'ladies'... Then by all means...

Pros: Friday night meat market

Cons: regurgitaded beer stench

I know it near Saint Patricks day and therefore, I don't expect the same quality from any Irish Pub as far as their drink or food is concerned due to the large amount of business that is gererated at this time of year. But for a Sunday early afternoon I do expect food that is semi-decent. 1. Guinness should not be served in a plastic cup (sorry I am from Dublin, you just dont serve it that way) Now I understand that there was a band playing outside and the management was most likely concerned that some lad would get a little drunk and hurt himself, but I am sitting in a half empty Bar before 6pm at least tell your customers that if you want a glass you can't take it out side. 2. The food, and this is my main problem, I ordered corned beef and cabbage-- if you could call it that. Has anyone ever eatien beef jerky, well that what this resturant bar would be better off using for their corned beef and forget about the cabbage, maybe they need to advertise for a cook or new supplier of food, on a good point the mashed potatos were not bad. End note: I will stick with the Four Green Fields or O'brien for a pint and some grub, I will also try the Dubliner but this place,no thanks. 100% Irish

I started a tab and they took my ID with my credit card. When I went back later to close my tab, it took forever for the bartender to come back and when he finally did, he came with the manager who told me they'd given my cards to someone else!!!!! The manager wasn't even apologetic about it. My friend and I threw an absolute fit so he finally said he'd make an anouncement with that person's name to see if they were still in the bar. The bartender didn't really realize what he'd done- given a complete stranger more than enough information to steal my identity. Thank god they found the person and got my cards back. I was told that I didn't need to worry and my bill would be taken care of (the least they could do, frankly) but the manager didn't bother to apologize or anything. The next day I checked my account online and sure enough, there was a charge for MacDintons. I'm still working on resolving it. I'd never recommend it but if you do need to go, take cash.

Cons: horrible bar staff, managers who don't care

All of the tables are the high bar tables and the high chairs are the normal low high chairs. So needless to say the children are eating about a foot down from you, which does not work. My husband orderd a guiness and myself water. The guiness was 5.50 and my water was are you ready 2.00. WHAT!!!! The waitress threw the bill, literally, and when we gave her our card to pay she passed the copy to us as she was walking by, didn't even stop. I wouldn't go back to this place if someone else paid.

Pros: valet parking

Cons: not child friendly, service is horrible
