Willies has been here way before most of us moved to Florida. It was a post office back in the twenties and thirties, and has been a seafood restaurant since the 70's. We finally tried it out and were REALLY impressed with the fried oysters. Super fresh and full of flavor. The lobster bisque was pretty good, the portions were big and the food was overall very good. Fries need some work, they were not anything special and a little underdone. A really nice casual restaurant.

Lived in Fla. most of my life and have always loved fried shrimp, scallops and oysters. Guess what I have when I go to Willies. Too bad they aren't closer to me.
Wish their tartar sauce wasn't in those flimsy, wasteful paper cups.
- Pros: Excellent Seafood
- Cons: Not in Pinellas County; Tartar sauce paper cups
