Best Children Store in Town

Fantastic store with a great selection of clothes. I love buying gifts there because they gift wrap for free. I wish I was living in Tampa when by daughter was born they have the most beautiful furniture and bedding. The staff is always super friendly it is hard for me to beliver they were rude to anyone.

Extremely rude customer service

I have visited Little Peeps on numerous occasions (even know the owners) and every time I go in the store, I encouter the same rude women who works there. She does not make eye contact with you or greet you when you walk in. She acts like working in the store is the last place she wants to be. On my most recent visit, I was purchasing a shower gift for a my sister-in-law. When I went to pay for the gift, she was clearly upset with having to help me and I wasn't going to dare ask for gift wrap. I did politely ask for a box and was given a very grumbled response of a yes that I even turned around to my sister who was standing behind me to see if she heard what she said. When my sister went next to pay for her gift her, she informed my sister very rudely that the price marked on the towel set was not the actual price (it was like she expected my sister to know that the price was incorrect). Then she offered gift wrap to my sister and looked over at me and said that since mine was on sale, I didn't get gift wrap.

For being an upscale clothing store, she definitely didn't treat us like we were shopping upscale.

Not sure what it takes...

I have visited Little Peeps on several occasions to buy bows for my daughter only to be ignored every time I have walked in. I have always felt like I am not worthy of being in the store, perhaps because my wedding ring isn't large enough, I don't carry a designer bag, and I don't drive a luxury car, even though I grew up right down the street from the store. I dream of owning a store like Little Peeps someday, however, I can promise you I have learned some serious lessons from some of the things I have witnessed in that store and from my retail management experience. I have witnessed what I assume is the owner whine and complain about having to stick around on the weekends (while the store was busy!) to the point of acting like the spoiled children she helps dress! Her unpleasant attitude is enough to make me want to turn around and walk out because I have felt like I'm putting her out by simply being in the store. Oh, and by the way, you can buy the same ADORABLE smocked dresses new-with-tags on eBay, if you know what brand you're looking for, for about 30% of what you pay at Little Peeps! Shop smart!

Not thrilled with the customer service

The owner of this store has great taste. Beautiful clothing, bedding and furniture. Initially, I found the staff very helpful. They spent a lot of time assisting me with picking out bedding. After ordering rather pricey bedding however, I was surprised that the customer service wasn't better. My order was delayed by several weeks nearly missing my due date, and there was no follow up from them. I had to call several times to get any information. I dropped into the store one day only to find out that the bedding was in the back room-no apologies or explanation. I expect more from little boutiques of this kind. A smile is nice during a sale but if there is no follow through what's the point of shopping at an upscale boutique.

Excellent selection, prompt delivery and set up, excellent customer service and follow-up.

Great selection for children's furniture and clothes, hard to find items, seasonal items. Employees were very helpful and went out of their way to find/select items, with excellent follow through. Knowledgable of their inventory and how to find that one-of-a-kind item you are looking for. We have furnished in both of our children's bedrooms and have been very satisfied with the look and functionality of the furniture. GREAT place to find birthday, holiday and special event gifts.

Very rude staff

I shopped at this store for quite some time unitl...... One day I overheard the staff talking badly about a customer who was purchasing expensive furniture and bedding from the store. I was so turned off by their rudeness that I have never returned. They are very overpriced as well. Too many other good boutiques to was my time there!

This is the most adorable store! I love the selection from infants to big kids. They have the best ideas and are so helpful. I could spend hours in the store and pretty much do! You have to check it out!

Best high-end baby and children's store in all of Tampa

Little Peeps is the best high-end baby and children's clothing and gift store in the whole Tampa area. When my daughter went from her crib to her "big girl" room Little Peeps made everything from the duvet cover to her new window treatment. They went out of their way to provide me with the best customer service and pricing around. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and always friendly. They are the baby accessory experts in Tampa. I love the new expanded store with even more items to choose from. Whenever I give a baby shower gift, I always go to Little Peeps because an item from there means you cared enough to give the very best quality.

Bay Area's Premier Baby and Children's boutique

This is THE premier baby store in the Bay area! You cannot beat the quality and selection of the most beautiful baby and children's clothing, furniture, bedding and gifts. They also have wonderful, hard-to-find seasonal items for Christmas, Easter, Valentines, Halloween and Gasparilla. They've just expanded to add more furniture, bedding, great stroller lines, diaper bags and a cool play area for kids so Mom can shop. Truly personal service that's impressionable and makes you want to come back! After 4 kids, I should know where to go- this is it!!! Fabulous!!!

Best Baby and Kids Boutique

Little Peep?s is great. They have the highest quality and best service of any children?s boutique I visit. They always have the latest and a really wide range of choices. The fact that they also have a great play area that occupies my children and gives me time to think is just icing on the cake. I love it!
