Great beer
by fl_love
Checked out Dunedin brewery because i think i like chill pubs, and was not disappointed. the atmosphere was great and the beer and food too. They may still need to work out a few kinks with organization but it isnt hard to overlook when hanging out with friends
- Pros: great homemade brew
- Cons: dont go in a hurry or to grab a quick drink on friday night
Are you picky about beer?

Obviously being a brewery, they make their own beer. What I didn't realize was that they only serve the beer they make. After sampling 2-3 different kinds of their beer.. I decided it wasn't the place for me. The atmosphere was great though, so if you can stomach the beer, it may work out for you.
Great beer, great atmosphere

We showed up on a Tuesday and it was Drum Circle Night. Drum Circle Night is when all the locals bring drums and play. The crowd was enthusiastic and quite warm and friendly. Visitors are welcomed to grab any available instrument and play along. We viewed the videos when we got home and they showed large ear to ear smiles not only on the locals but on my family, daughters 9 and 16 included.
Sampled all but the Lager and found that the Beach Blonde Brown Ale was the best followed closely by the Red Ale. Beer costs $4/pint, $2/pint during Happy Hour.
- Pros: Good Beer, great people, friendly townies
Quite possibly the best beer from the Tampa Bay area, this brewery may not be as well-known as Tampa's Ybor Gold, but it's certainly more tasty.

The Scene
A wide variety of brews are offered--everything from light ales to rich lagers, and even a hearty stout (which is named Leonard Croon Old Mean Stout after the Leonard Croon Band, one of the Bay area's most beloved rockabilly outfits). The band performs regularly at Dunedin, call ahead for details.
