I visited this unique shop when the owners had their business on Main Street in Port Richey. They are absolutely wonderful people, and put most other customer service oriented businesses to shame. I frequented their Main Street shop probably weekly; but when they moved to Rowan Rd, I just haven't been able to get there very often. They have the widest selection of gifts I have seen in a long time and everything is very unique--lots of things you just don't see elsewhere that make for fabulous gifts or just a "for me" gift. Thanks so much for being there. Will make it a point to get to the new store more often.

For the woman who was so disappointed, I truly believe that she was somewhere other than Back Home Imports. I have shopped there for many years and have visited the store for many times. Out of the 100's of times that I have walked through the door, I have never had a negative experience. It is like being invited into their home. The products are out of this world and the prices are fair. They are always the first to point out the sale items, my $ can go a little farther. I am impressed at the success this couple has made in NPR. Every Christmas I shop there and buy gifts for every employee who works for me as well as many of my family and friends. I will be visiting there next week for a mothers day gift. Example, I have no idea what to buy for my 73 year old mother who has everything and needs nothing. Bet I will find something nice there! Congratulations!

I've gone to Back Home Imports since they were down on Main Street. Their store on Rowan Road is just beautiful. It's the perfect place to find a unique gift. I've gotten lost in there many times. Each step I take, I'm drawn to another beautiful piece. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I am greeted each time I go there and they are always helpful. It's great they've made a little kids corner, as well. I dont' have to worry about my boys following me through the store possibly knocking something over. They are perfectly content to relax and watch cartoons while I shop. Their tart burner collection is second to none. My sister came to visit from New Jersey several years ago and I brought her to BHI for the first time. She fell in love and is now as addicted as I am. She was completely taken by the selection of burners and bought 3 to take home with her. BHI is her favorite stop now whenever she visits. Job well done!

I have recently been married! I chose Backhome Imports to give my bridesmaids their gifts! I was warmly greeted and helped from beginning to end. The couple that operartes this place made me feel very welcome and answered all of my questions. They boxed the gifts ( it made it easier on me!!) I just wanted to say thank you so very much for making my wedding party happy with their gifts!! I have been telling everyone about Backhome Imports!!!

Great customer service! Fast check out! Many things to choose from with low prices. They have cheaper prices than the Yankee store and all surrounding stores that sell Yankee.

Pros: cheep prices

Cons: only open to 6pm M-Sat.

you walk in the door, not one person greets you though they are there. They only help you minimally if you are purchasing an item! Will go elsewhere for the product. Not thankful at all> horrible
