This place is like none other!

The first time my husband and I drove into the park we were impressed and surprised. We had NEVER considered buying a "mobile home". We wanted a house. We own real estate and wanted a HOUSE! When we pulled in our jaws dropped. The trees and the landscaping, the beautiful pond with a fountain. Impeccably maintained. Then we saw the golf course and two beautiful pools with an outdoor hot tub! The main building had a gym and rec room that we were not expecting. As we drove up and down the streets we realized that this place did not look at all like a "mobile home" park. These homes were mostly manufactured homes that LOOK like stick built homes. AND every single one is perfectly maintained! We bought a home here and have seen that Fairway Village continues to be well maintained and beautiful. There are some lovely new homes that have been built there within the last few years, and let me tell you...they are not mobile homes!!!!
- Pros: well maintained, 15 minutes from the beaches in Maderia and Clearwater, 30 minutes to Busch Gardens,
- Cons: 15 minutes to the beaches!

The perfect place to live (or just visit) if your'e looking for tropical tranquility!!

We have been going to this 55+ park for 7 yrs now, on vacation, every since my mother-in-law bought a home there. LOVE IT! We are not yet old enough to live here full time, but are planning on moving there as soon as my husband turns 55 in a few yrs. It is the cleanest, nicest place we have ever visited, and the residents are so friendly & welcoming too. Both pool & hot-tub areas are always clean & very comfortable to relax by the pool with it's beautiful landscaping & peaceful tranquil breezes. Since we live in 4 season Iowa, it is the total opposite weather. Even in August, this is wonderful! Takes us 20 min of beautiful scenery, to get to Clearwater Beach, which is the nicest beach we have ever seen! Sunsets are unbelievable!! The shopping & restaurants in Largo are so great, in 7 yrs, we haven't even ventured into nearby Tampa. I give Fareway Village 20 stars!! Golf courses, shuffleboard, nice clubhouse,fishing pier.....
- Pros: peaceful, beautiful, CLEAN, close to anything & everything you could possiblky want or need
- Cons: have to be 55+ to live there!
