Great on the beach spot!. Very casual place great to watch the sunset! Our group of 4 only got burgers (probably a mistake as they were all overcooked) so while the meal wasn’t great, the ambiance was great. It was great to be on the beach with live entertainment watching the sunset.

Great Hotel BUT.... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

A Real Clearwater Beach Kinda Place. The menu is so much bigger than the CS review, which must be really old. We went there a couple of times when we were on vacation. Everyone else with us orders the grouper sandwich, but I love their hurricane shrimp, their chicken caesar wraps and their flatbreads - can't remember which one. We try and come early so we be on the deck and have the food come as the sun sets. Thumbs up on the pina coladas!

Had a blast. We spent a long weekend and found that we only needed to go to the Palm Pavilion. The food was decent, but the drinks were great! Darren rocked! We only paid for 1 drink and left toasty!!! Thanks Darren!! Love you!! Lori

Nice place to hang out if your a people person. I eat here often, I'm a local kinda I live on the outskirts of Clearwater, I like to chill out and eat on the deck with a table close to the bar, the view of the ocean is great and the people come from all over the globe. It's a good place for couples, singles and groups of friends. When i'm done eating and having a nice tropical drink I head out to take a walk on the beach. I really like this place.

OMG, DO NOT COMR HERE FOR REAL FOOD. After seeing an inviting TV commercial and talking to someone who had been there, I decided to try it for dinner, as my condo was within walking distance. OMG. What a rip off. Let me start by saying that there were at least 8 servers chatting it up, while diners waved frantically for attention. Our sever dumped us at an out of the way table, then proceeded to ignore us after she took our order. I ordred the grouper dinner, and it was basically boring and unimaginative. No spices, no salt and pepper, nothing. Canned green beans accompanied my uninspired dinner, and the mashed potatos wre the best part of the meal. I do not normally write reviews, but his meal was so bad I wanted to let others know. Order the bugers, the wings, the beer. but DO NOT come here looking for a real dinner.

Bad customer service. I went to Palm Pavilion a couple of days ago and had THE WORST waitress. She was cold and not friendly at all. She made it seem like we were inconvincing her every time we asked for something. Due to her horrible service, I only left her a 15% tip ( I usually leave atleast 20%). I used a credit card to pay for my dinner and come to find out later when I checked my bank account, she changed the total on my bill to give herself over a 20% tip! I am VERY outraged by this and will not return to Palm Pavilion!

Don't bring the family!. This is a great place to have a few beers and a burger when you are enjoying the beach. Its more of a bar than a restaurant. So sit back, have some drinks and enjoy the scenery. Leave the kiddies at home.

Nice Location, Very Bad Service. Our family of 7 decided to spend our last dinner of our week long vacation at the Palm Pavilion. It appeared to be a very nice restaurant. Service started out nice. The atomosphere was quite nice until about an hour into being there. After drinks and appetizers were served and before our dinner had arrived, the management allowed a party of 50+ people (a single private party for my understanding) to congregate in the dining room (even though the actual bar area was not crowded). I complained to our server who did nothing about it. This party was so loud that our family was unable to talk what so ever. When our dinners arrived, we had so many people standing by our table that we literally had strangers butts in our faces. That made for a very unappealing dinner. I finally went to speak with the manager whose first response was, "well, what do you want me to do about it?" I said, move the people and comp our meals (not our appetizers or drinks). The manager said no way and told me that if I wanted to eat some place boring, I should have gone elsewhere. So, now I am writing this review to tell you that the food alone (what little I ate) was absolutely sub-par and the service was the worst I have ever experienced. I had to spend my hard earned money there, but maybe I can stop someone else from making the same mistake. I would suggest Frency's at Clearwater Beach or Guppy's just a short 20 minute drive at Indian Rocks Beach. I will never return to the Palm Pavilion and will do my part to spread the word about this aweful experience.

Stunning ocean views, cool breezes and a carefree attitude add up to the ideal beach bar.. The Scene
Situated right on a beautiful stretch of wide, sugar sand overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, Palm Pavilion boasts a big, open-air bar. Protected from the sweltering sun and kissed by cool sea breezes, there's space to lounge up front, as well as shaded tables in the back.

The Dish
The menu is predictable--tuna and grouper sandwiches, hot dogs, french fries--but the food is fresh, high-quality, and well-prepared. A few years ago, owner Ken Hamilton even added a few salads, all of which are excellent. And the ice cream is frozen rock-solid, just the way we like it.

Schmoozin' and Boozin'
Frozen cocktails are the specialty here. They may be a bit pricey, but the bartenders' fruity concoctions are the perfect antidote to those sweltering days. Pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris are especially recommended.
