WARNING: Lenny's may be habit-forming! Great food at very good prices, served by a friendly staff in a place with personality... First, deciding what you're going to order is a challenge. The breakfast menu is extensive and intriguing, and as the servers walk by with hot high-piled plates for other diners, your eyes and nose will have you changing your mind a dozen times. Second, you'll each too much. You'll start out with a danish basket, what many hotels and busy business people might call a "continental breakfast." HA! At Lenny's this is just the "Welcome, we're glad you're here" intro to what's yet to come... the appetizer that helps keep you from chewing on the menu while decided what to order. As hungry as you go in there, you may still find yourself taking leftovers home after eating heartily. Third, you'll become addicted. Whether a northeast transplant like me who enjoys a gastronomical trip down memory lane or someone who just likes a huge delicious breakfast served the way you want it, you'll go back again and again. Who else in the Tampa area knows how to serve up that scary Pennsylvania/South Jersey mystery meat scrapple extra crispy? Heck, what other area restaurant has even heard of scrapple? You'll make Lenny's a weekend family tradition. When a friend you haven't seen for a while suggests meeting somewhere for breakfast, you'll immediately think "Lenny's." When you have family in town visiting, you'll consider Lenny's a must-do on their itinerary. Lenny's can be pretty darn slammed, especially on weekends. Parking can be a challenge, and you'll probably have a wait. If you're not in a hurry, it's well worth the wait. Taking the family or a group of friends to this hometown favorite is an outing... an event... not just a place to grab food. If you're going to complain about the wait, head to a nearby fast food restaurant instead. It ain't the Ritz, but it's a heck of a lot more fun and filling!
Pros: Extensive breakfast menu, cooked to order, friendly service, fun atmosphere
Cons: Parking and the wait, especially on weekends (but worth it)

We eat breakfast at Lenny's on a Saturday morning. The place was busy but tables or the counter was always open. The food and service was great. Price is very affordable. The potatoes are to die for.
Pros: Food, Service, Ambience all great
Cons: None

Lenny's is a great breakfast brunch place. On Saturday's and Sunday's it's busy all day so expect a little bit of a wait but they are definitely fast paced at Lenny's and they get everyone in and out quick.
Pros: Breakfast and More
Cons: Busy...fast paced, usually a wait

I am very disappointed that LENNYS was not the # 1 by editors. By far is the BEST Breakfast & Lunch in town. Everyone is friendly and FOOD is EXCELLENTE!!! Used to be a problem for me with the parking situation...But that problem is been resolved... I purchased the SMART CAR made by Mercedes...problem solve! Now I can go to LENNY'S and don't worry about parking anymore!...and enjoy the best food in town. My family from New York, West Palm Beach, Ocala and other places in the world always eat at Lenny's...so, Lenny's is getting a reputation worldwide!!! Congratulation to all of you guys at Lenny's. Isak
Pros: EXCELENT FOOD AND SERVICE.
Cons: PARKING (Not anymore I purchased SMART car).

Best for breakfast, but great anytime. Service is wonderful. At times I have been there when there is a wait to be seated. Its not a small place either (yes its that good). Fun menu's and atmosphere. Lots of the servers have been there forever and a day. Price is perfect for the starving college student. What more can I say?
Pros: Danish with breakfast, Inexpensive, Great service

Seeing the overwhelmingly positive reviews we decided to try Lenny's. The restarant itself has a lot of character with trivia questions, celebrity photos on the wall, and comments on some of the ceiling tiles. The service was attentive and personable too. The food, with one exception, was rather disappointing. The pancakes, bacon, home fries, ham, and eggs were only average. The exception was the pastry basket served with the eggs. Incuded in the basket was a danish, two pig ears, and cream cheese tasting squares that were as good as your grandmother makes, and much better than anything else, even in many bakeries. It's too bad that the rest of the food was not as good...

Lennys is like Cheers without the drunks.a pleasant staff ,fun interior and a menu you can count on makes Lennys one of my favorites. The only suprises are the owners hawaiian shirts when he greets you . Breakfast galore and great deli sandwiches have kept me coming back for over 20 years.Even the hot dogs have style, and the chicken noodle matzoball soup has mystical powers.Try the knish Rueben, really nice like that.Shalom-Wolfchow
Pros: tasty, quick service, friendly

I had to come to Clearwater 5 years ago. That's when I became addicted to Lenny's! It's a perfect deli with a character of it's own. Breakfast is a must, You get a comp pastry basket as soon as you sit down. If you don't eat it, TAKE IT HOME! Also order potatoes with breakfast. You won't be disappointed. Deli sandwiches must be magically transported from NY! It's all good! The atmosphere is totally NY deli with a touch of Clearwater Phillies flair. Lenny and his wife are truly hospitable. You come long enough or regularly and you are remembered. The service staff is 50s deli chic! Great landmark to eat at!
