EEEKkk is correct.

Front desk seemed lost and rude. Nobody knew what was happening, we asked for a taxi, never came so we googled it and call it ourselves. Many angry guest were in the lobby, it was a circus. The rooms are small, smelly, and look like its from the 70s, which might be cool, but not when a roach runs towards the air conditioner. If I would of known it was going to be like this, I would have never stayed here. I would have made reservations down the street at the Postcard Inn, more modern and clean place, (we walked down there and check it out, everyone greeted us). The only positive thing I have to say is Harry's Restaurant is nice and the staff there was friendly. Would I recommend my friends to come here, helllll no. My friends wedding was a disaster, whoever was coordinating the wedding from the hotel was a TOTAL Mess!!! Messed up the tables, open bar was a mess, it was laid out not how it was suppose to, it was all done without courtesy. The wedding was suppose to start at 3p and didn't go on until 4pm, disaster! The hotel staff didn't have enough people working the wedding they even asked if the family can help.

I refused to sleep on the sheets, covered my self with my own that i brought from home, Definitely afraid of bed bugs here, ugh... just plain GROSSSSS.

Yes, its on the beach, believe me I thought about sleeping on the sand my entire stay.

Anyways, stay here at your own risk, not worth $99 a night, I have stayed at the Hilton in Orlando for a lesser price, that was worth every penny.

P.S. Bring your own towels and pillows, the ones here stink like piss.

Just another hotel

I was very disappointed with Sirata. They advertise as a resort, and they are nothing more than a hotel with beach access. The rooms look like any other hotel room that has not been refurbished within the past 5 years. The bed was hard. The restaurant on site had below average food. The beach bar closed at 10pm on Saturday. What bar closes at 10pm on a Saturday?

I will do more research for other places on St Pete Beach the next time I visit.

  • Pros: Beach access
  • Cons: Old hotel rooms
