Best Place to get your hair cut and colored
by jmastanduno at Citysearch
I have been going to Tribeca Salon for over 7 years. I am extremely picky about who cuts and styles my hair. I have to say since Day One I have been thoroughly impressed and absolutely love getting my hair done by Brandon. I have referred many people to Tribeca and they are just as happy as I am. After getting my hair done I am always complimented on how it looks. Mofe often than not, they ask for the number and their next haircut and color is done at Tribeca. If you are looking for a salon that truly knows hair go to Tribeca. I promise you, you will not be disappointed.
- Pros: Excellent staff, very knowledgeable
- Cons: Parking is tough to find
Expensive, but Worth It

I finally found a place to get my haircut in Tampa. I had tried a few other places but everyone else seemed to give me the cut/color they thought I should have, not what I was actually asking for.
- Pros: Great haircut
- Cons: Very limited parking, expensive
I recommend Kelly for color, highlights and lowlights
by sj31 at Citysearch
Kelly has a natural talent for recommending the right shade, and applying the color in a way that is seamless so that it looks natural. What more could you ask for? I have been to salons that charge 3 times what she charges and her level of skill is an absolute bargain!
- Pros: Kelly, price, atmosphere, punctual appt time
better than great!!

Jamie is my stylist and he is the greatest in my book. I've been a customer for a year and a half and can't imagine going anywhere else. I've referred many to the salon and all have left happy. It's a little pricey but worth the money!
Great experience

I have been to almost every salon on this side of Tampa Bay and have finally found Tribeca to be the place that I can say consistently delivers great service and experience. AFter I get my hair done by Steven, I always get noticed. The cut and color are always what I wanted and the price is right.
I love this place...

I have been going to Tribeca for almost 2 years. Before trying Tribeca I was going to the same salon in New Tampa for about 5 years until one of my friends (and all of his friends/family) convinced me to try Tribeca. I was hesitant because I was comfortable with where I was going and I didn't think I could find something better, but I was wrong. My friend recommended Amanda in particular, and she is amazing and I am still going to her this day. However everyone working there is great and is very talented and if the situation ever arose I would trust any of them to do my hair. They know the latest trends and techniques in hair cut and color, and will do what will look best on you and update your own style. I have also sent several people there from work and they have never been disappointed. Also they don't just cut your hair, they will actually show you how to style it and will help you pick out products that are right for you. I couldn't get the hang of a certain technique Amanda showed me one time, and she actually let me come in and watched me blowdry my hair so we can figure out what I was doing wrong. That is priceless!
- Pros: Trendy, fun, professional, innovative.
- Cons: Nothing!
Somtimes it doesn't get better the second time
by dazey13 at Citysearch
My first visit was okay. Nice folks. Cut was great - the color not so much. This guy must have been new becuase he kept asking the other stylist their opinions. The end result was a strange shade of brown/orange. Not a good look for a brunette.
Second visit - disaster! Went in looking for a new short look. Same stylist from before completely jacked up my hair. He was scared to cut it. Of course he asked every stylist around him for input and needless to say I was petrified. I left feeling defeated.
If you do go to Tribeca - go with one of the seasoned pro's.
- Pros: Nice folks
- Cons: Bad color and short cuts
Best South Tampa Hair Salon! Great color! Great cuts! Great atmosphere!
by chloesauce at Citysearch
I moved down here from NYC and needed to find a hair salon close to where I live in South Tampa AND that could give me the same kind of quality service that I am use to in NYC. I was recommended to visit Tribeca salon and I am so thankful for the referral. They are just SO GOOD. I have long blond hair that needs occasional highlights and I leave there looking like I just walked out of a beauty mag. - [erfect color, perfect cut. Brandon, the owner and top stylist, is amazing. The atmosphere is super cool. The people there are all really very nice and personable. I love going to get my hair done! If you are looking for an amazing South Tampa hair salon - go to Tribeca Salon. You will not regret it!
- Pros: cut, color, atmosphere, service, staff
- Cons: not cheap
Top Notch!

Brandon has been cutting and coloring my hair for over 2 years and I can't say enough good things about his talent with hair and the salon in general. Previous to Tribeca, I had sampled MANY of the top salons in the Tampa Bay area for 6 years . I searched for a stylist that would give me healthy, chic hair at ANY price. Thank God I found Tribeca. The salon itself has a very hip and relaxed atmosphere. The service is amazing, I've never had to wait and there is always some one asking if I'd like anything to drink, read, etc.
Brandon helped my hair get back into excellent condition after being overprocessed at other salons. And my haircut always looks terrific. I constantly get compliments on my hair (trust me that wasn't the case in years past).
I truly look forward to my appointment every 8 weeks. This despite the fact that I live in Valrico.
- Pros: service, skill, hip, not stuffy
- Cons: long way from home.
Dont Go In

This is THE WORST hair salon i have ever been to. nobody at this salon knows how to color properly so about a month later when your roots grow in IT SHOWS A STRAIGHT LINE AND LOOKS SO TRASHY. a REAL COLORIST WITH PROPER TRAINING knows to only do small tiny streaks ( and doesnt put the entire length of hair in the foil so you can tug on the hair to get the root.) i asked for highlights and i got low lights and my hair looked grey. i also asked to get layers but to keep the length i had . and the girl chopped my hair to oblivion and i looked like joe dirt and my hair was thin and had random straggley hairs that didnt go with the cut. I HAD TO CUT THEM MYSELF TO JUST CLEAN IT UP. whoever thinks this is a real salon doesn't know quality. i am a model and go to the finest hair salons in New York and i'm going to spend double the amount the cut and color did at tribeca, just to fix the color this girl did! sound obsurd? WHEN SOMEONE ASKS FOR BLONDE DONT PUT LOW LIGHTS IN AND MAKE IT GREY! also next door the aromatherapy place isnt really what you think ( its really sleezy). Everything about tribecca is trash and unprofessional. Spend your money wisely and find somewhere else. The cut and color is NOT worth what you're paying for here.
- Pros: it's convinient
- Cons: everything
Great Salon

This is a great salon that provides outstanding service but is not pretentious. You will be greated with a smile and offered a beverage when you arrive. The stylists are edgy and fun. I have trusted Brandon with my hair for the past 10 years and can't find a negative comment to say about this salon.
- Pros: great style and service
- Cons: parking can be tight in early evening hours
