I have long , fine hair......Most stylist don't take the time to listen to my problem of no volume or texture or even care to ask where I part my hair. Abby Took the time, cut and textured my hair while still keeping it long. Her face framing was perfect and she even showed me how to put my hair in a pony tail with less damage. (I'm a dancer so I put my hair back a lot) I left the salon feeling like my straight, plain, hair was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Thank you Abby I will be back.

Pros: Knowledgable Staff

Cons: Needs more Ambience.

These positive reviews are rigged and written by staff in order to build the staff's reputation. Go to the salon yourself and find out just how fantastic (or not!) this place is. It's a great PR stunt. If only it was as awesome as it sounded.

Cons: overpriced, hair stylist smoky and intoxicated, melancholy assistant

I sarted going to Salon Jack over a year ago. Needed a reasonably priced haircut, I saw the reviews on Citysearch, and I was new to the area, Being from N.Y I went with little expectation. Much to my delight, I met a very talented stylist -Chad- whom I have since become a loyal fan and client. He has given me great cuts over the year. Plus I am often asked where I get my haircut. When I want any type of change, I ask Chad's advice, and he has given me his professional opinion about what looks good and what doesn't. I have complete faith in his talent, and think he is hilarious as well. As for the salon, I have spent a lot more at other places and have been a lot less satisfied. From my point of view, excellent value and talent.

This was the worst experience of my life. Extremely unfriendly...well my hair dresser was at least. The hair came out horrible!! Nothing like I asked for. They do not listen, just do what think looks good. It was very expensive also. I've never had worse service, and my hair has never looked so bad. Go in and check it out for yourself. I truly dont know who wrote these other reviews or if they are real. I would have given this place no stars but unfortunately had to give at least one. Oh, and whatever you do, do not see Megan.

Everything from the first call to walking out the door at Salon Jack was an uplifting experience. This was my first appointment there and I wasn't expecting to get an appointment that worked around my work schedule for atleast a week or so and Amber made accomodations to let me come in after work and got me in THE VERY NEXT DAY! Amber goes to great lengths to make sure her clients are able to come in on their own time; sometimes even seeing people at 10:00 AT NIGHT! What's even more impressive are her skills. How many times have you walked out of the Salon and can't wait to go home and style your hair the way you want to because it's not the way you like it? Amber seems very intuitive and knew how to cater to my own style. I was very impressed! And another HUGE thing is the prices at Salon Jack! Not only did I get an awesome hair cut and consultation, I haven't seen prices like these ANYWHERE! and Amber was resonable about the products I should use to repair my damaged hair. She suggested what I needed and didn't try to upsell me. She even suggested products I can purchase at other places for cheaper prices. The environment at Salon Jack is one of positivity and individuality. They are selfless and will be putting on a benefit next week to raise money for charity. I would have to say that overall, Salon Jack is the best Salon I've ever been to

4 years ago I called Salon Jack to get in with my stylist, she was unavailable; But fortunately Kim was able to take me. Who new that I would be getting one of the best hair experiences ever. Kim is one of the most friendly people I have ever met, she is always willing to accomidate my schedule. she is a talented hair designer! I always look forward to my next it is like you are hanging out with a friend. I have done everything from going blonde with a short punky hair cut, to being a brunette with long wavy hair and heavy bangs. See you soon!

Love the atmosphere in this salon. The whole crew is friendly. Salon Jack is very unique to the area. The talent in this salon is extraordinary! They use Bumble and Bumble hair product and i love them. I have been going there for years and seen many different people and my hair is always stunning! I have it colored, cut and styled and it is perfect for me every time!

How unprofessional can you get with your answer to these reviews. It's a known fact you have people write favorable reviews for you. It is creepy and a dumpy salon - you need to lighten up a little and not expect everyone to be happy with you. Keep it professional!!!!

I went in just recently to get my haircut, I didn't want to much off just enough to let it keep growing. I saw Chad, he worked with me before cutting my hair and when he finaly picked up the scissors to start cutting I knew it would be great. When he was finished my natrualy frizzy, thick and tangled messy hair had become thinner and a lot eaiser to maintain. Thanks Chad for the awesome cut!

Chad Malm is who Tampa had been waiting for. I had spent years trying swanky South Tampa Salons searching for someone original and had always run into more of the same, until I was referred to Chad. My whole life I had long, thick hair. I always thought and had been told (by other stylists) that if I went "short" my hair would bounce up like a "hair helmet". They were all wrong. My first haircut with Chad...he took off 13". It was the best, most flattering, professional yet modern haircut of my life.
