I moved down from Manhattan and met my stylist Christopher Nejman prior to him joining the Mark Alan Salon. Coming from the "city" I knew I was spoiled and when I found Christopher through a friend I was not about to let him go! What an artist I mean artist. Beyond hair, this man has more talent in his pinky than most people do in their whole body.
When Christopher joined Mark Alan, I was sure to follow him. Well my first impression was a very relaxed atmosphere with an edge of the urban flair I am used to. I know Christopher loves the salon and I do too.
I see a lot of talent in there and always a lot of activity going on.
I highly reccomend Christopher Nejman at Mark Alan Salon. You will not find another gifted man like him. It comes so natural to him.
- Pros: Great Atmosphere. You never feel snubbed.
- Cons: Wish Starbucks was in the same plaza.

Brazilian Is The Way to Go

I had the Brazilian Treatment done and I absolutely love it. Even though it isn't the same as a relaxer or straighter it leaves hair pretty straight without the chemicals. Which is what I love about it. This is actually a super rich deep conditioner and my hair looks great. Not only do I have medium length course, frizzy hair but A Lot of IT!! So it is exciting to know that I can dry my hair in not time but it looks healthy because it is. I need fewer trims since I have very few split ends and as a result longer hair.

I came to Mark Levendoski with my hair completely damaged from a previous hairdresser nightmare. Since then , he has nursed my hair back to health with some amazing conditioning treatments, as well as haircuts and color that I couldn't be happier with. I highly reccommend him to anyone looking for a quality and professional hairdresser in the Tampa Bay area. He is worth every bit of my 45 minute drive!

I have been meaning to write this review for Christopher Nejman and his latest email newsletter he sent reminded me and Christopher I apologize because I want everyone to know about you.
Christopher Nejman has been my stylist for several years now. When I first met him, what truly impressed me was how he explained everything he was going to do for me. The results were what he promised and he made me and my hair feel and look incredible! He cares about me and how I look and he really takes time to keep me informed of new procedures and products. Christopher is also the most motivated person I know. I enjoy listening to his stories when he travels and teaches. I always look forward to going to the salon each month to get my hair done. It is true, that you can close your eyes and know he will create something for you that truly will compliment your looks. I know you will love him as much as I do. He truly is an incredible stylist and human being. Thank You.

When you find someone great you want to tell the whole world! Christopher Nejman is truly a great guy! I live in the area and had been going to a stylist very far away. With the gas prices that soared and my job location that changed, I had to find someone closer to home. I researched and found this salon through this site. I called, booked an appointment with Christopher. Yeah, I was nervous, but after being in Christopher's chair, the results were stellar. He knows what he is doing and he gets right to work.
I found out he has many other hidden talents and I cannot wait for my next appointment.! I like this guy and I am so happy!!!! Hint, he travels on the road teaching, so pre book ahead of time!

Kevin Patrick is my stylist and he not only knows what he's doing, he LOVES what he does and it shows every time. I've never been big on maintenance when it comes to my hair in the past. Give me a short, messy cut that I can stretch it 5-6 months before I break down for an emergency procedure and I'm good to go. Ten bucks with a coupon at SuperCuts was good enough for me. Now that I'm on the other side of that I can look back and call it hair depression. Every person needs that little something that lights them up inside. Something that makes them feel confident and beautiful. Be it your makeup, nails, clothing or hair - as a woman, I think spending those few extra bucks to have it done RIGHT is money well spent. Kevin has consistently transformed me and my hair every time he has touched my head. I'm completely comfortable sitting in his chair and telling him to create his vision. He has amazing talent and I am the recipient of his well deserved praise. People compliment on my hair constantly - even at 8-9 weeks out!! Some habits die hard, obviously, but the one thing I don't plan to waiver on ever again is my stylist. Like a good doctor, once you've found a great one don't ever let him go!

I found Mark Alan through this site and saw the reviews for Christopher and booked an appointment. I have been to several salons in the area and after not having the success I wanted I finally found it with Christopher. He explained the technical side of it and asked me about my lifestyle and what I truly do to take care of my hair at home. He worked with me knowing my hair color was a disaster and also what I was capable of doing on my own per styling. I am so pleased and delighted. I truly have received compliments from my co workers and I will be sending clients to him. Who ever knew what a level system and undertones were? I now also know about proteins and ceramides. I feel like I went to beauty school and received an educatrion in the short time I was in his chair. This guy is great!
- Pros: I took a chance and it paid off!
- Cons: I was looking for the Mark Alan sign and the sign just says salon, it is next to Subway when you go

Ashley is my stylist. She goes above and beyond for me. She spends at least three hours everytime she does my hair. The stylists are all very friendly. Whenever I get my hair done people always ask me where. I would recommend this salon and Ashley to any and all. Great place!

I have been with MANY stylist before, but no one brought out my personality better in my hair than Kevin Patrick. I walked into Mark Alan with hope of change, and Kevin brought my ideas to reality. The way he worked with my hair was as if he was working on a fine peice of art. His cuts were incredibly precise, and well thought out. He also brought alot of myself into my hairstyle by asking questions about my lifestyle.... i.e. what genre of music i liked, and what i like to do for fun! This was my first experience with kevin as my stylist, but I will continue to go back to him, because he is a true artist with cut and color.. and he rocks it!
