My husband and I love to go to the Egg Platter at any time of day. There breakfast menu is the greatest and the waitress Breeze will never let your coffee cup or iced tea glass get low. The only bad thing about going there in the morning is that you are so stuffed by the time you leave that you want to go back home and go back to bed. There omelets and pancakes are my favorite. Breeze will also take good care of you at lunch time. My favorite is the chicken philly sandwich with onion rings. For dinner you can't beat there meals which comes with jello or rice pudding for desert. Susan always takes good care of us no matter how busy they are. The prices are cheap, cheap, cheap and you can always guarantee to bring atleast half of your food home for the next day. I have never had a bad meal or service in the 8 1/2 years that I have been gong there. I love that they are open 24/7 and it is always nice to go there especially on Christmas morning with the whole family. I would highly recommend it anytime of day.
- Pros: lots of parking..never have to wait more than a few minutes to be seated
- Cons: haven't found any yet!!!!

The ratings must have been made by the owner and employees - not too many people would consider this a recommended place. Below average everything!
- Pros: no smoking
- Cons: Greasy, Lower class place, cheap
Plentiful platters are the norm and you can get food 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Scene
There's no other place like it. It's such a dive you have to laugh, but it's so cool you've got to keep going back. As soon as you walk in and see the wall-to-wall air-brushed pictures of chickens laying eggs, you know what kind of place you're in. Most of the regulars sit at the bar, drink their coffee and read the morning paper while bantering with the servers. But here's a hint: Don't be afraid to sit there when you absolutely have to have some grub on those extra crowded days.
The Food
The theme is big plates served quickly for a small price. Perfect for the poor college student or the guy who wants to treat a big party. The cooks will put just about anything in an omelette, and the French toast slices are thick and plentiful. The Platter offers non-breakfast items, but we say don't bother.

I went to the Egg Platter once, it was horrible. I ordered an omelette, what I got resembled a half-ass attempt at scrambled eggs with some cheese thrown on it. The hash browns were burned on the outside and frozen in the middle. Either the cook was pissed off or they have a real problem with the grill at that place.
love it!!

Egg platter rocks!!! When you want fast service, great people and huge portions you have to go there. I always get the breakfast. Two eggs, home fries and bacon for only 3.95!!! Thats cheaper than Mc Donalds. And your foods always hot. The reubens are also really good. Overall, I think it's the best place to eat breakfast!!!
- Pros: inexpensive, potion size
- Cons: cleanliness, efficient

The Egg Platter is absolutely unique! The hen factory artwork is one-of-a-kind. The food is super and ALWAYS supersized. Good eggs and great pancakes. Lots of bacon, yum! They have more than breakfast too. Their french fries are to die for. Crinkle cuts that are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. YES! Their dinner menu is great. Chicken fried steak the way it ought to be. Don't like red meat (too bad) they have chicken fried chicken too. Very good.
Word of warning... If you are a member of the brie and croissant crowd, Fo-getaboutit! This is not for you oh-genteel one. Good down home food from good down home folks. And you won't have to raid your 401K to pay for it! 8-)
- Pros: Lots of food, Great french fries, Breakfast!
- Cons: No brie, No snooty waiters, No "whine" list

MAYBE IT WAS A BAD DAY FOR SOMEONE,WHO KNOWS? BISCUITS WERE DEFINITELY NOT FRESH.
REQUEST OF CRISP BACON WAS MET WITH A
PILE OF FATTY MEAT. AFTER THE BUILD-UP FOR
NEW HWY 19 LOCATION, I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE DISAPOINTED.
- Pros: CLOSE TO HOME
- Cons: RE-THINK
