Daniel did the right thing and contacted the client with the hair issues she's been having. I'm very happy he did what should have been done a loooooooong time ago!!! Good JOB

in response to kat... first off, i appologize that micheal no longer works with us. Unfortunetly for you that is affecting your views on me. And by the way he is very happy to no longer be doing hair. secondly i guarantee eveything that i do. if for whatever reason any of my guests are unhappy they know that i tell them to give me a call and we will take care of it. doing hair isnt just my job, it is my career and my hobby, i love what i do, and i therefore take this very seriously. i tell everyone that i want them to love there hair and if correcting something that i have done that they do not like is what it takes for them to love their hair then that is perfectly fine with me. if your "signifigant other" shall we call her, has any issues with her hair, she needs to stand up for herself and talk to me about it. you have no right to say anything you have said about me, you know nothing about me. My clients are not all young like me... you dont even know how old i am. I do not give cheerleader hair. I do not give people purple and green hair. I work in the heart of south tampa for crying out loud.

Update, my girlfriend went back to Alex for the fourth time now. I have to say that for the first time the haircut actually looked good. She didn't try to make my middle-aged friend look 15. Kudos!! On the other hand, the color job was the WORST ever!!! She's 4 for 4 as far as missing that same huge spot on the left side of the back of her head. It's still dark brown and sticks out like a sore thumb. The newest thing is that the back of her head (what wasn't missed that is,) was highlighted blonde. The ENTIRE front of my significant other's hair is pureGRAY!!! Especially her bangs. Nice going Alex. Now instead of looking 58, she looks like my grandmother who is in her 80's. She knows that her hair looks terrible, but is too scared to call the salon and go back. She's afraid that she'll hurt Alex's feelings to ask her to fix what she messed up. I guess we'll see what the next haircut/color surprise brings...maybe she'll be bald? or have green or purple hair? Good job, keep em guessing. The owner should pick up the phone and call this client and re-do her hair for free and make her look decent...isn't that what going to a salon is for? To look BETTER? or have things changed in the last 20 years, and I just missed the boat?

I've been going to Salvatore Christian for @ least 5 years, maybe more. Yes, Michael was my stylist before he left, and I did think he was wonderful, but Alix, whom I have now is wonderful too. In all the years I've been going there, I have NEVER waited more than 5 minutes for my appointment, & frequently, if I am early for my appointment, they take me right then! Everyone there is very nice & friendly & helpful. I NEVER worry about my purse when I am there. And I know for a fact if I were ever unhappy with my cut or color or highlights, I can just go back & they will make it right!! I would highly recommend Alix. She is patient & caring & provides excellent customer service! Oh, & the reason I left my old salon was because the owner, even though he was married, was going through some kind of mid-life crisis & all he wanted to do was flirt with all the young, cute girls & was treating me like I was invisible when I was there, and I was his age! That would NEVER happen @ Salvatore Christian!

Honestly, after reading the reviews of people going back and forth about Alix (<-how you spell her name) I'm not gonna lie- obviously she has something to offer that shes getting several people writing reviews all about her! And I'm going to be the next to do so. I am a cosmetologist myself, meaning- I am extremely picky when it comes to having someone do my hair. Alix is my stylist. I have never ever had anything less than pretty much every single person I meet at the salon I work at that is in Orlando wondering who does my hair and complementing how great I look. I travel over an hour everytime I want my hair done just for her. Not to mention when I get married next Spring- she will be doing my hair for that too! She does everything so no matter what you have an idea to do- it will look great on you and not just a "cheerleader look" for a fifty year old. As far as Salon Salvatore Christian- its an awesome salon, with a very friendly and talented staff that always keeps up on their education. Also if you can't see Alix- I reccommend Kate as well. She is extremely talented and I have never seen anyone dislike anything she has done!! Great cuts and colors!!

Pros: fun, friendly, and awesome hair

Cons: parking-but thats not the end of the world

Is it more hilarious that a satisfied client who has been seeing Alix for years can give her a great review, or that some cheap loser can give her a negative review without having ever have had so much as a trim? Or, is it more hilarious that I know for a fact that the friend of queenofdepression continues to see Alix on a regular basis and loves her hair every time she leaves the salon? Perhaps it's even more hilarious that you decided to get involved in this as well. Well, guess what...I don't know you...I don't even know what you do but I want everybody who reads this to know that you a bad at what you do and they should never go to see you professionally. Oh yeah...hilarious.

Michael was great, he was very talented with both cuts and color and was wonderful with the customers. Since he left, the customer service kind of went a little downhill. My friend uses a girl named Alex. I stopped going to the salon after Michael left, but my friend has Alex do her hair. I haven't met Alex, but I'm not impressed with her work. It seems that everytime my friend goes for a cut, color and highlights, she misses an entire section in the back of her head with the highlights. Also, she is young, and most of her clientelle is young. She gives the same haircut to a tiny petite 25 year old as she does to a large woman in her late 50's which is not attractive in the least. Michael knew exactly how much to cut, how to style and what colors to use, and he never missed a spot....If they hire him back, I will definately go back there. Sorry Alex, but a woman in her late 50's doesn't look attractive at all with a haircut that belongs on a cheerleader....just an observation.

Pros: They need to bring Michael back to the salon!!

Cons: very expensive

You shouldn't go anywhere else but Salon Salvatore Christian!!! Make sure you see my stylist, Alix!! She is the most amazing stylist! I have been to so many different stylist in my lifetime, and none of them can capture the perfect image for me quite like Alix. She knows exactly how to map a cut and color for my face, not just an ordinary look..she makes it personal for me. I can honestly say that I have not looked this great in years!! Alix made this Stella get her groove back!! Salon Salvatore Christian has such a friendly crew and they always humor me! Loves it and you should too! Go visit Alix- she'll hook ya up with a great look!

Pros: Great atmosphere, excellent skilled stylist, fun and affordable!!

If you like tatoos, piercings and bad language -- this is the place for you. Also, ladies, keep an eye on your purses!
