Carrabba's is all about consistency. Consistent service and food makes it appealing for people who travel alot and want no surprises. I've enjoyed their mussels in white wine sauce many times, and the Insalata Fiorucci is a quick favorite. The bread is always spot on and the service is always friendly, young and fast. That being said - I find it dull and uninspired. They play it so safe that you're left with few choices to venture into true Italian cuisine. Chicken, chicken and more chicken. Everything is OK. That's it. OK. And every entree I've had there is usually oversalted. I understand why they do it. It's a very successful chain of restaurants that most people like. But I call it "fast food."

Pros: It's fast and familiar

Cons: It's predictable and salty

Wait was way too long, even with "call ahead seating." Waitress was slow to nonexistant and I could have done without the pretentious attitude that she and the hostess had. The food was average, not really worth the price.

Pros: edible food

Cons: , staff attitude

My husband and I ate at Carrabba's is south tampa a few weeks ago for the first time. At first we were a little dissappointed about the wait time (1 hour 15 mins), but the food more than made up for it. our watier's name was Phillip and he was extremely polite from the moment we sat down. We are definitely going to be coming into this restaurant again. It was the best Italian food we've had in a while.

Pros: inexpensive, great food, great service

Cons: long wait time, full parking lot

I was in Tampa for a week and after visiting Carrabba's once, I had to go back. The second time was even better. The lemon butter sauce is to die for!! The service wasn't the greatest, but we forgave them because of the food.

Pros: food, portions

Cons: service
