Last weekend, I phoned Studio 510 and asked if they provide hair services to patients at the nearby hospital. The receptionist was uncertain, but willing to check. Within five minutes they called me back and said someone (Irina) would be there in the afternoon to wash and cut my mother-in-law’s hair. After spending nearly two months in the hospital, my mother-in-law was delighted, to say the least, to see Irina at her door. Irina, with her skillfulness and kindness, gave my mother-in-law the treatment she needed to overcome an otherwise dreadful stay at the hospital. THANK YOU ALL at Studio 510 for lifting our spirits during such a stressful time in our lives.

When I went there a few months back I had asked for a body wave or very large curls. I have had this done a long time ago at a different salon and it came out great. I specifically told the lady I did NOT want a tight spiral perm and that I just wanted some large curls or waves. I was nervous right away when she used small rollers and left the solution in as long as you would for a spiral perm. I got exactly what I didn't want-spiral curls. She assured me they would loosen in a couple days when I washed it. I actually washed it the next day even though I wasn't supposed to and my hair still looks like a mop. The salon itself is really nice and upscale. The other stylists seem to do hair really well and trendy. So I may just try someone different next time.

I can't believe I just spent $250 on a color and cut that looks this bad. I asked for caramel highlights and got something resembling an eggplant, but lighter. Would not recommend.

If you want modern hair cut or style and the BEST highlights, then IRINA is your girl! She did my hair many times and its perfect every time, just the way I want it, people always compliment me on my hair, Thanks to Irina. Salon it self, is a pretty nice place with friendly staff. I recommend.

My first impression of this salon was sensational. Comfortable, beautiful intereior design, cozy and very welcoming atmosphere made my experience an unforgetable one. Professionals that i met were very friendly and ready to fulfill your every need. Irina was the hair stylist that made my hair look its best. She is a beautiful person inside and out, she made my trip from clearwater to tampa worth a while. I love the way they take care of you by offering you a drink and different magazines to look at while giving you their full attention. I would highly recommend this salon and hope that it grows and expends to where they have many branches around tampa bay area so i wont have to travel so far. Good luck to Irina and keep up the good work!

studio 510 is an amazing salon. everytime i go thier i have so much fun and awsome hair results. the staff is so nice to u and they always offer u a drink which is cool. Irina is the best!!! she does awsome high lights and incredible up-do's! she did my hair for a wedding and it was so unique and beautiful!! just awsome experience everytime im thiere!!

I just moved to Tampa from San Francisco, tried another salon, and was convinced I needed to move back to California. Then, I went to Studio 510 and saw Anna Maria. She's the BEST!!! She told me exactly what I needed to do with my color and conditioning routine. She has been a savior ever since. Everyone I have talked to in there has been incredibly friendly and complimentary, and from what I have seen, anyone should feel comfortable with any of the stylists.

I had moved to Tampa from Atlanta and had tried out several places only to be very let down until I was recommended to Ana Lisa by a co-worker with great hair. I tried her out and have been religously using her for the last 5 years. She does great "believable blonde" foil hi-lites and great cuts that keep shape until my next appointment. I always get compliments on my hair, and most of the people that I work with frequent Ana Lisa and the salon. The product line is, atmosphere and location are all great. I would recommend the salon and Ana Lisa to anyone.

I have been patronizing this salon since the day it opened following Derek from Alan Ledo after being a client of his there for several years as well. His haircuts used to be the best cuts I had ever gotten but the last 3 were just not the same quality. My last visit he was twenty five minutes late, took several calls on his cell phone as well as on the land line and was basically distracted. He was so distracted that he cut the front of my hair so short it almost looked like bangs (which 3 months later still won't go into a ponytail). My cut, including shampoo and blow dry, was 20 minutes. Had this been an isolated incident or had I not discussed the same issue with him the previous year, it wouldnt bother me. But, sadly this inattention appears to be the norm.

Cons: Parking, Receptionist(s)

This is the most wonderful salon! I have been a client of Studio 510 for about 2 years and each haircut is better than the last. Derek cuts my hair and he is incredible. I get compliments from friends and strangers all the time. The best part about it is you can style Derek's haircuts yourself when you get home so you can look great every day! I am not normally one to post messages about the companies I patronize, but I feel so strongly about this company that I wanted everyone to know.
