The place is beautiful, with one of the best lobbies. The staff is very accommodating and we had everything we needed. After a night of running around, we returned to the hotel, where the night clerk switched hats and became the bartender. The result was a great nightcap enjoyed on the third-floor veranda, where we smoked cigars and watched the city settle into sleep.

  • Pros: Located among Ybor City's historic landmarks
  • Cons: Noise late from nearby nightclubs

Right in the middle of all historic Ybor has to offer! Staff was amazing, One of the owners, Tessa is a such a vibrant character who truely cares about each and every guest. We caused a bit of a rush on the front desk as we were holding an event there and had a bunch of family checking in at once but the new desk clerk worked it like a pro! She was friendly and curtious and didn't break a sweat. Our reception was beautiful and I would recommend anyone to have any type of event there. The rooms were great and breakfast was included. I plan to go back when I celebrate my 1st anniversary.

  • Pros: In the center of all the attractions.
  • Cons: No ammenities such as a pool or gym.

This is located in historical ybor city and beautiful. We had my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary here. We hired a DJ on our own. They have a dance floor, a bar, and you can comfortably seat arou 45-60 people. The food is very creative but the servings are small and they want a lot just to furnish your guests with tea or soda.

My brother had his wedding here and it was beautiful. He had a smaller wedding of about 60 people. They have antique furniture and during the cerimony some of us had to stand, but it was still very nice. They have a dinning area, a bar area, and the rooms are upstairs. The food is beautifly aranged. The rooms are nice. We had a great time here, they staff was very nice.

I was actually married at this place but only heard about it through the wedding magazines that my wife reads. None of my friends or family members had ever been here or heard about this place beforehand. It is an old building in Ybor city that at one time was a clinic and is now a remodeled hotel. It is a very average hotel with poor service and management. We rented all 16 (I believe they have 16) hotel rooms on my wedding night 6 months before our wedding only to find out 2 months before our wedding that they had rented them out to the mayor of Tampa and his crew.

The Scene
Both tourists and local partiers can find Ybor City exhausting. So many bars, so many clubs, so many restaurants...so little time. For those who want a late night without a long trip back to their hotel, or who want to get an early start sightseeing in the morning, this is an ideal location. It also offers a charming atmosphere reminiscent of a traditional European lodging.

The Details
This remarkable building was constructed in 1895 by the founder of Ybor City, Cuban patriot Vicente Martinez Ybor. It is situated in the heart of the district and has been transformed into a premier boutique hotel. Guest rooms and suites are furnished with accents such as canopied beds, and many have wrought-iron balconies. The opulent grand salon will make you feel as if you've traveled back to the peak of 19th-century luxury, while the brick and wood dining area brings to mind a cozy taverna.

The location is super! We were 1/2 block from the new trolley that takes you in to Tampa (aquarium, Habor area, etc.) and Ybor is great for restaurants and entertainment. The rooms were lovely and the host gracious!

  • Pros: good parking, great area

This is a beautiful hotel filled with antiques, however, it is quite modern. In the heart of Ybor City, you won't find a better place to relax while enjoying all the nightlife and entertainment Ybor has to offer.

  • Pros: Friendly, Attentive, Beautiful
  • Cons: Sometimes noisy
