Good salon, very clean... by Michelle G. at InsiderPages

I have been to this salon about 5 times and have seen a couple different stylists. They are very friendly and clean. They always listen to what I want with my hair and answer my questions. In my opinion, they do lack a little professionalism. There was a lot of gossiping about other stylists and complaining. Over all, a welcoming experience.
So-so salon

A couple of my family members had been going to Love's for a few years so I tried it. The prices were ok but it seemed like so-so on the service. One of the stylists was not friendly and both times I got my hair cut it was just "ok" (different stylist each time). My sister went once for a trim and ended up with bangs that needed a hair clip for three weeks before they were normal looking again. The nail services were ok and I'm not sure if it was just my nails, the product, or what, but I gave up on acrylics (they kept lifting, even with extra primer). However, Jeanie is great for a last minute brow shape or nail repair. I guess for the money, I'd rather have a super hair cut/style and a nail tech that will problem solve (*COUGHotlocks*) Not saying Love's is bad; just not great, like I've found somewhere else. ;o)
- Pros: Location, layout (nice lounge area in center of salon), variety of services
- Cons: Inconsistent service experience
Loves Hair Salon

I have had my hair done at many Salon's. And I was referred to Angela at Loves, she took the time to ask me how I like to work with my hair ie: do I blowdry it, let it dry on it's own or do as little as possible. She showed me a style that would work best on my hair and I Love it !! And I can get it to look the same way she did it.
Thank you Loves for having stylist's that know the up- to-date styles and the experience to create them.
- Pros: Friendly, relaxed casual salon
- Cons: When ther very busy, parking is not easy
just an impression

ok, to be fair let me start off my saying I have not actually had a haircut here, just went in for a consultation. But based upon that, I would not go here if you want friendly, competent customer service. The ladies at the desk were rude to me; I had called in advance for a consultation and scheduled a time, but when I showed up they acted like they had never heard of me and did not know what a consultation is! They acted like they could not care less if I met with a stylist that day or not. I did not meet with the stylist I had been scheduled for, but someone else was available and she talked to me while she cut someone else's hair. I felt bad for the girl-- I wouldn't want anyone doing that to me while they did my hair. I thought that was kind of unprofessional and it made me uncomfortable. Then I showed myself out because no one took an interest in me after I was done talking to her.
- Pros: low prices?
- Cons: bad customer service, unprofessional attitudes, apathy
So far so good!

I just had my first cut at Love's and Clara was amazing! She cut more hair off than I've had off in over 20 years but I LOVED the cut and didn't even feel a twinge of remorse over losing that hair.
I will be going back in a few weeks to have the bio ionic straightening process done. I feel much more confident about it now after seeing what Clara did with my hair.
Affordable too!
