Best shopping Mall in Tampa
by electrika999
I visited the mall over the Labor Day weekend (2007). We loved it so much, that on our next trip to Florida (Thanksgiving Week), its among our top priorities to visit. Loved the outside atmosphere, with all the cafes, trees, flowers and overall setting. It felt like we were somewhere in Europe. There are plenty of stores to choose from, and variety of prices for all budgets. When you get tired or hungry and need a little break, give yourself some love and visit the cafes right outside the mall. Our entire trip consisted on visiting shopping malls and centers between Orlando and Tampa, its our way of having fun. If you are a "shopaholic" like us, you will love International Plaza.
You'll think you're shopping on New York's famed Fifth Avenue --although your only savings will be the unnecessary airline ticket.

The Scene
A 1.26 million-square-foot behemoth, the International Plaza is a classic, enclosed shopping mall, paired with an outdoor entertainment area featuring restaurants, outdoor cafes and specialty shops intertwined with flowers, fountains and shady oak trees. A family-oriented interior includes fluffy chairs, and the restroom suites are complete with private changing rooms and facilities where children can reach the faucets, handles and towels.
The Shops
Over 200 of the country's finest stores, such as A/X Armani Exchange, Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co. Contemporary department stores new to the area include Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor and Neiman Marcus. Since all that shopping is likely to build an appetite as large as your credit card debt, there are plenty of food vendors, including the famous California Pizza Kitchen and the ever-popular Cheesecake Factory (both new to Tampa).
