I stayed in the Premium room, so I got the awesome bed. That was probably my favorite thing about the place. It was soooo comfortable! Other pros include the events. This place has a number of events to keep you busy; including classes, workshops and fitness activities. You can rent a bicycle for free; it's fun to ride down the flat Florida streets (no exhausting hills). There is a restaurant and room service, but it's expensive. I suggest going down Main St. to eat, you can find places that are much more affordable (I highly suggest Captain's Italian Restaurant...yummm). The pool is nice, supposedly it's filled with mineral water, so it doesn't burn your eyes when you go under. There is a cute little bar next to the pool and in my package, I got a welcome cocktail, which I thought was nice. Otherwise, the drinks are kind of expensive. My package also included an herbal wrap, which was also nice because it was FREE, but I wouldn't have paid for it. The spa treatments are REALLY expensive. Anyway, the crappy things about this place: The so-called BEACH that the hotel sits on is hardly a beach. It is a tiny strip of sand AFTER a huge field of grass (where there are hammocks, so that's nice). There is a nice pier, but it is NOT a beach. You will have to drive to a real beach. There is no wireless internet connection in the rooms, which is crappy b/c I had to bring my laptop down to the lobby. They also have a business center where you can use the computer, which is okay, I suppose. There are water dispensers out in the hallway, but it's mineral water and tastes gross! Maybe just my preference. No microwave or refrigerator in the room, so you're forced to go out to eat. Also, the saunas and spas are seperated by men and women, so you can't go in with your sweetie which is LAME! You also have to pay $12/day extra for these ammenities. However, I got a great deal on the room, so I can't really complain. If I had paid full price, I would be mad. :)

Pros: bed (in premium room), aveda shampoo and soap they provide (verrryy nice), good discount package

Cons: sleepy town, no internet connection in rooms, everything costs extra
