BAD customer service; poor movie quality
by tampaev
Used to be great place a couple of years ago; but now there is NO management running the show; the employees are hostile, and projection breaks down.
I recommend Ybor instead; they have maintained their level of quality over the years (so far..)
- Pros: Channelside Area
- Cons: Filthy Restrooms; Unfriendly Employees
Uncrowded
by bucsfan101
The best thing I can say about this theater is that it is very uncrowded most of the time. The ticket prices are ok, but the food is a little overpriced and the movies can get a little static like. The seats arent bad but the worst part is the parking. You either have to do valet or park across the street in a parking garage. There is an IMAX theater here which is pretty cool. The movie variety is pretty good too
- Pros: Crowdedness, Ticket prices pretty low, IMAX
- Cons: Parking, Sometimes Movie Quality, Overpriced foods
For the alternative movie-goer, catch indies and obscure flicks here.

The Scene
A picture-perfect structure on the outside, the first area megaplex to open in the new millenium hopes the pictures on the inside will be the draw. Wait for your date in the courtyard, take them to the patio to watch the boats pass in the channel or watch some of the more obscure films to hit the big screen.
Ammenities
With Centro Ybor less than a mile away, the complex strives to stand out with its intellectual ambiance. The nine auditoriums offer between 180 and 400 comfortable rocking seats. A 3-D IMAX opened in March 2001. The concessions are gourmet considering the venue: herbal tea, biscotti and Italian soda.
