The theatre itself smells horrid due to the multitude of months it was closed. The last time I attended a film there, the film strip apparently tore in the machine and the entire crowd was forced into another theatre hall. I went there to see Live Free or Die Hard... not that Rat-Chef movie thing (which was also a disappointment). The tickets are overpriced, the food isn't magnificent and the best thing I've seen from the theatre was a skateboard demo some friends of mine performed.
Pros: Parking
Cons: Smell, Selection, Food, Atmosphere

While this theater may have problems with teenagers on Friday nights, I have witnessed the Ushers and even Management making attempts to control the adolescents. Sometimes there is just no controlling an entire theater full of middle schoolers. It is a lot better on Saturday nights. If you're looking for a good time to go see a movie in a peaceful environment, I suggest going on a night during the week. The Customer service at this theater with the Box Office Staff and the Snack Stand is spectacular compared to the other theaters in the area. This small theater is a privately owned company and does not have an entire chain to back them up; this is why I suspect they work hard on their customer service. At every other theater I've gone to in the area, I felt as though I was an inconvenience to all members of the staff. I am always pleased when I go to Seminole 8. It is true that they do not have stadium seating, but in my experience and honest opinion, having stadium seating with low lighting can actually be dangerous. This theater had an excellent promotional event for the second Pirates of the Caribbean film. The staff (including management!) all dressed like Pirates, and they had a lot of promotional items. It was loads of fun. They also, for their 20th Anniversary, had a promotional with 1986 prices! Tickets were $3 and there was a concession combo for $3 as well! I hope they do this again, it was so nice. For a while, this theater, I think, was having a bit of an issue, but I go there quite often and it seems as though they are definitely picking up the pace. They have the cheapest tickets in the area (except for kid's tickets, but I believe it's only $1 more, at most!) and their website, which was pretty terrible, now looks excellent! (seminole8 com) All in all, I would give this theater a rating of 8.5. If you live in the area, it's local, and in a world where customer service is about as dead as chivalry, they always shine through.
Pros: Customer Service in Concession and Box Office, they are always making an effort to clean, always parking available
Cons: Kids on Friday nights, The parking lot needs to be painted (I've asked management about this; they are owned by the mall, and the mall is very uncooperative!)

this theater is ok its just on the weekends they do nothing about the middle schoolers who ruin the movies and sneak in
Pros: none really
Cons: people ruining the movies and the staff doing nothing about it.
