Innisbrook option!.
My wife and I went to this location on Tuesday and Wed evenings for dinner. We we really enjoying our stay at Innisbrook but wanted a little less expense.
We were VERY happy with the service and quality of food. While we were saving on our travel expense, we did not have to settle for less. The experiences were great!
An open kitchen churns out wood-fired pizzas and fresh-made pastas at this casual Sicilian-American chain..
In Short
Decorated with family photos of founders Damian Mandola and Johnny Carrabba, the open dining rooms pack groups of friends and extended families into four- and six-person tables and booths; smaller parties or couples can grab stools at the open kitchen's adjoining bar to watch chefs make dinner. The traditional southern Italian menu offers grill specialties like steak Marsala and fire-roasted chicken breast with sun-dried tomatoes; pasta dishes include fettuccine Alfredo and garlic-sauteed shrimp with linguine.
Greatly Disappointed. I have to say I have been to many Carrabba's restaurants and this was by far the worst. We waited 40 minutes to be seated and then could not eat the food. The filet was not like any filet I have ever eaten - the meat was kind of stringy and full of fat. It was like those cheap pre-packaged filets. My son got spaghetti and would not eat it and I don't blame him, it was terrible. Our bill was high and nothing was comped. I paid but they lost a couple of customer's for life. Take my advice and go to a different location.
Best Chain Restaurant. We regularly return to Carrabbas, sometimes just because I get a craving for their house salad. The food is absolutely consistent. I've never had a bad meal there.
Never, ever had a bad meal at Carrabbas. I am a very picky eater, especially when it comes to restaurant food. My husband took me there on our first date and we continue to go back again and again. That was seven years ago! I think I have had everything on the menu at least once and have never been disappointed. How many places can you say that about? The Sausage and Lentil soup, the Fioruci salad and the mussels are some of the best menu picks.
