COME TO SEE "ELVIS". The food is great (try the blackened grouper sandwich) the atmosphere is fun, drinks are good even if they are in plastic cups, but if you want the overall experience come when Billy ELVIS Lindsey is performing...you won't be disappointed!!! He is the five STAR*****rating !!!
Great casual outside patio deck dining on the river. The place was clean, and the servers were fast and attentive. The shots came in plastic shot glasses, yick what a joke here i am paying premium prices and i get a plastic cup. Other than that, the oysters were great, the onion rings were great with beer batter, and the atmosphere was perfect for a real happy hour after work or after boating or fishing. I'm bringing the group from work next time and we will give em hell about the plastic shot glasses, lol.
Best chicken wings. Great place to have a great time. Open everyday of the year with a great view of the Hillsborough River. Can come by car or boat and have an outsite bar so smokers can drink and smoke at the same time.
What a find. If your looking for a great place to dine, this is not the place. But for a fun time, cold beer and just a unique hang out this is the place. A place to hide a way....
Great Value, Great Times. I find Rick's very casual but not "low class". A truly unique restaurant unlike any other in tampa. If you want to go where the locals go, head over to Rick's.The most reasonable waterfront hangout ever. It even has live music 7 days a week! You can visit by land or boat.
A hip river rat hangout or a classic dive bar? You decide..
The Scene
There's plenty of space inside and out to just kick back and relax. This place reeks of nostalgia from back in the day, but somehow remains a popular after-work destination. Most people go to shoot pool in the adjacent billiards room, but the live music also is a big draw. You'll find some great local talent, including the spawn of Elvis, Wednesday through Sunday evenings. Go outside and drink "on the beach" or check out the dock.
The Food
It won't make you forget about Mom's cooking, but it will satisfy the late-night craving. Order a special pizza or "real" Philly cheese steak ($5.95). You can get most items for about $6. Most people come for their liquid diets: drinks are made "with love" from Tiffany and her sister the way you want them--strong.
Working Man's Hangout. If you want a place where you can totally let your hair down and feel like you're at a festival/fair, eat here, outside, when they've got some music. The servers were all nice and helpful, but the seating (outside) was uncomfortable, the food was average, and the decorum was virtually non-existent.
Great Food-Great Price. Wonderful food, relaxing setting, and great prices. One of those little places you keep your secret or share with everyone if you are so inclined.
