Awful customer service; poor service – I finally just got a refund after a month and several tries to get new prescriptions in my glasses. I wish I had read these reviews before wasting my time and my insurance benefit.
The first time they broke the lenses getting them in my frames; once they reordered the lenses I was not given the basic courtesy of a phone call letting me know they were in. When I finally called and found out that they were ready, it turns out that they were made incorrectly. As I was sitting there waiting for my glasses, almost every customer that came in had a problem, and not once did anyone offer an apology.
I got a full refund because I'm moving in a matter of days and there was not time to fix the issue, but I was made to feel that me moving was the problem, not the fact that a whole month and 2 tries later my glasses still weren't available.
I've never had so much trouble getting glasses, and to be treated as a nuisance on top of being inconvenienced and not getting what I paid for is unacceptable.
They're no longer Pearle Vision, I believe it's now Vision Center of New Tampa or something along those lines, but don't be fooled by the name change: the staff is the same.
Poor Customer Service, No X – The lady at the desk was no Admin, and no skills... Poor customer service. I have been going there for years and always had at least a 20 minute wait, reading Doc's magazine leftovers. I was 30 min late, to which I called in for 10 minutes and turned out wrong, she had Attitiude with me... I am, as far as I can tell, still the Customer. Sorry Doc, you lost a patient.
Wish I had known Walmart had optometry dept – I agree with the other reviews. Rude mother and daughter and have a "I don't give a darn" attitude. I wish I had known that Walmart had an optometry department because I could have gotten the very same glasses at half the price with good customer service. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and don't know how they can stay in business with this classless duo. By the way, the optometrist was a very nice man but he needs to get rid of the mother/daughter team if he wants to stay in business.
Never again... Poor Customer Service from Owner (wife) – I spent $500+ for two pairs of frames. I was not satisfied when the glasses were done... Both sets had tiny scratches and owner (wife) could not see them (she made it seem like we were lying). Owner (husband) saw the scratches on second pair and promised to make them both right. Owner (wife) just had no professionalism in correcting the problem or talking to me/husband/daughter (the customers). I will never go back there again. Next time it will be better to spend a couple extra HUNDRED $ and go to LensCrafters. I wish I read the previous persons post from 10/25/07... Nothing much has changed!!!
Poor customer service! – Return policy... they don?t have one! Staff is rude, and wouldn't say they have good customer skills! This is a independently owned office and the corporate offices will NOT help. Good luck with the women in this office... you will need it!
