Love, Love, Love Home Instead !!!. I cannot say enough good things about this agency. I had no idea this company even existed, and happened to see a brochure at my Dr.'s office. I called to get more information and the very first person I spoke to made me feel so at ease with their knowledge of Alzheimer's disease. I set up an appointment for them to come out and meet with my Dad and I about service for my Mom. We thought Mom was going to have to go to a facility because she just could not be left alone. Dad was not getting out of the house and becoming depressed and his health was starting to suffer. Home Instead matched us with the perfect caregiver who takes such good care of my Mother. She treats her with respect and when she hears the same story about trips to Colorado, or the cat we use to have, it's as if she has heard it for the first time. They started a project together putting all their old photos in scrapbooks, helping Mom to remember and reminisce. My Dad now plays golf again. The peace of mind and care that they provide is priceless!! Thank you Home Instead !!!

Bad Service & High Rates. This company is not very nice and they were charging excessive rates to bring my father to the store. I needed someone to help my father when he could not drive to the store anymore. I work full time and have 3 kids, so I cannot always break away to take him to the shopping during the week when he likes to go. The staff was very rude and unpleasant in the office when I called. The people that came out seemed to be ok, but I would not recommend this company due to the abrasive personnel & high pricing. My father said they always seemed to be in a rush and they really only seemed to be interested in taking my checks. It was not very hard to drive him to the store and I thought since this was what we hired them to do, it would not be too difficult. They would show up late and then some days not at all. This was rude to say the least and I am glad that my Father is better now. He takes a cab or public transportation if he needs to go somewhere when I am unable to take him or his friends and other family are busy.
