If you are checking out this guy before calling him you are smarter than I was. Do not call this guy for any type repairs. He has no concern for customers, he is not reliable and I question his honesty. I was charged twice because he did not have all the parts and had to send a technician a second time to accomplish what should have been done on one trip. He told me the guy would be there at 11AM then called and said 2:30 PM and finally they tech showed after 4 PM. Appears he also cheats on his income tax because he wants either cash or a check made at to him personally ...not Steve Lang Appliance Repair just Steve Lang. He is the type of service guy that gives them all a bad name. Hopefully he gets his just reward and goes out of business for his sleazy dealings. His rating should be - 2 stars.

RIP OFF. I had to give them one star because you cant give negative stars..I dont know who wrote the positive reviews.. but they must be friends of Steve's. First a guy comes to the house.. supposed to be whirlpool expert.. He cant even take out the freezer drawer. He ends up breaking the drawer and the bearings fall out. Then he calls someone and they tell him its the thermostat. He Leaves to get the part. Comes back put it in 4 seconds. 2 weeks later the fridge freezes up again.. call and call and get no reply! I call Sears and they send out a guy who says the problem is the Jazzy board and that the thermostat that was put in was for a different fridge. He tells me give Steve one more chance to fix what they did.. NO ANSWER!!! now its costing me twice as much to fix what was wrong plus what they did to it... Sears doesn't change any more then Steve did..GO WITH SEARS!!!!

Cheater!!!...Stay Awayfrom this guys. Called for Refrigerator service , got it from craigslist... One guy came and charged $15 for visit. then checked the fridge and quoted $2XX for replace. After few hrs came and did something and told to wait till 24 hrs to get proper cooling. but nothing happened..called so many times...going to voice mail.. no reply...still going on...better avoid this type of spammers , cheaters...

I don't wanted to give even one point.. but no other options ...

BEWARE!! Is this guy really legit?. I'm giving them one star only to be able to write a review! I have seen his ads a lot on Craigslist, etc., so when I needed a repair I figured I would check it out. BEWARE!! One ad says $15 service call and the next says $20. I was confused, but I am a senior, so this happens. I emailed asking about my refrigerator problem and the cost of the service call. I also asked for his license information, as I could not find him listed in Pasco county or with the state. I ended up calling someone else, because he never answered me and I could not get an answer on the phone either. I called another company and they had no problem answering what I thought were normal questions. To me, he is just trying to get my business any way he can --even if it's a scam. I say BEWARE!!

WISH I DID MY RESEARCH ON STEVE LANG. Unfortunately I did not do my research before calling Steve Lang Appliance repair to my house. He has one of his "tech's" call me and tell me he is in my area right now and could I meet him, I agree leave work and drive 30 miles to meet him. After waiting around and calling him again he tells me his boss Steve Lang told him to cancel my job and to go to another(must have been a high paying appointment) I remind him I just took off time from work for his convenience, he then tells me he will call me right back. He never calls me back and has evaded my calls ever since. In a way I am lucky they never made it in my house, I can only imagine the damage they would have been done.

Does not stand behind his work. He came out to clear my dryer vent. He was friendly, and seemed nice enough. The dryer worked when he left and the vent seemed to be cleared. about a week later the dryer would not dry again. I went and checked the vent and sure enough no air was coming out.

I called Steve and let him know that the vent was blocked again. I asked since it had only been a week would he come out again. he said yes. that was last Thurs. I have called him several times and he kept saying he would have some one come out. yesterday when I called he hung up on me and now will not answer my calls.

Use him at your own risk! from the other review it would seem that when the work he does lasts people are happy, but if the issue does not stay resolved he will not stand behind his work.
