This store discriminates. Im a employee that just received a call today that I was being let go. The excuse was that there wasnt enough time to train me before season. See the story is I interviewed for the job and the manager picked another person. I was ok with that because atleast they called me to let me know. I knew I had competition and that was ok. The girl she (the manager) hired never started work for Caribongo so the manager after a week of the girl not being able to start, she called me and offered the job to me. I go in for my first day Feb 3 and work my scheduled shift which was from 10:30 till 1:30, this was after she had already switched my schedule then calls me to come in at 10:30 am so I do. I work my but off, we were busy but I have plenty of retail experience so I wasnt worried. I even stayed later than expected to help with all the customers, we were busy. So today I am to be at work at 5pm and get a call to not come in. Long story short she gave me the excuse of not having time to train me even though she only gave me 3 hours or so yesterday. Through alot of frustration I got the real deal. SHe ask me if I smoke cigeretts, I told her it was none of her business. I never smoked yesterday at work so what was she taking about? She told on herself, it was because i smoke cigeretts and she smelled it on my clothing. WHy didnt she have a conversation with me about it? She just fired me and that is discrimination.
