Choose your weapon carefully on this course.. The Green Winding through a sprawling residential development in northwest Hillsborough County, Westchase is a proto-typical Florida course. Built around low-lying wetlands with plenty of water coming into play, the course demands accuracy off the tee and solid club selection. The well-manicured greens are hard and fast, but relatively flat. Nos. 9 and 18 are mirror-image par-fours, calling for short- to mid-iron approach shots over the same marsh toward the clubhouse. The par-three third can be daunting from the back tees, demanding a 220-yard carry over a small lake into an oblong green.
