A-1 Auto Tint Stands Behind its Work for Over 27 Years.. In response to the person with a 2010 Ford Fusion. This person had no compliant about our shop or work until he tried to bully us into giving free work. His car didn't have any scratches when he arrived or when he left . Me (the owner of A-1) and the owner of the 2010 Ford Fusion looked over his car. Inside and out when he picked up the car. There was no scratch in the dashboard. The scratch he says we created is very noticeable. It's located on the forward front right corner up by the wind sheild about three to four inches long. We don't even have any tools that could even make this scratch. We use plastic spray bottles, cleaning clothes, and rubber squeegees.

I looked at this persons car, pointed out that this scratch was not here yesterday when he left. i thouht it looked like he hauled a metal object in his car. I politely told him we did not damage his car and therfore we are not responsible or refunding any money. He left. I didn't expect him to slaunder our image. I am currently seeking legal advice to fix these negative accusations.

He had no complaints about our tint work or our shop until I refused to pay for a dashboard we did not damage.

My phone calls to this person have only recieved voicemail with no response.

We have many customers everyday, we want everyone to leave happy. More the 50% of out customers are repeat or referrals. If we had any problem we caused we would definately take care of it right away.

Please don't be mislead by this person, we have a good reputation and want it to stay that way.

Excellent job done!. I had my Subaru forester tinted by Steve and his team. I dropped off my car at noon and came back after work to pick it up. Amazing job. Will definitely refer this store to friends.

My Legal Dark Tint Looks GREAT!. I came to tampa today because the shops in St Pete

all were all priced too high. My friend had her car tinted

at a1 tint in tampa and she was happy, so I had them tint my 2009 camry. I wanted it dark tinted, but they informed me about the fla tint laws. I choose the up=graded film for $99. the tint looks dark but its a little

lighter on the front doors but it still has a good look to it.

the front doors was 30% dark, the back area was 15% dark.

they told me this would be OK ianywhere in Florida.

II am glad I had a-1 tint do my car & will tell all my friends!!

Good Referal!. I came by this morning they were to busy to do my car so i came back this afternoon and dropped it off and picked it up at 5pm. It looks great!! Thanks a lot.

Frustrated Customer. I live in West Tampa and have been waiting for an opportunity to get my windows tinted for a reasonable price. Finally an opportunity arose were I would be in the USF area and could drop my car off here for a two hour time frame to get my windows tinted. I spoke with Steve directly and he assured me that my car would be finished within an hour, showed me the tint and took my information. I left feeling excited. I pulled in over two hours later to find my car in the same spot, a worker eating lunch and Steve speaking with another customer.

My car had yet to be taken when I was told it would take one hour. I cannot express how upset this left me. The only cars that were there when I arrived was my parked car and a car he was working on that was not there when I left over two hours ago. Steve told me he had taken cars out of order and was sorry. I’m sorry is not a reasonable excuse. He had my name and number and could have called. I do not understand why once he noticed he did not call and explain the situation. My car was parked right by the front door and you have to walk by it to get back to the office. He offered nothing more than I’m sorry. Had he seemed a little more sincere or offered me some kind of deal for their mistake I might have given them another change. It’s unfortunate this situation happened but as the comment from the owner says “It is my understanding that the purpose of reviews on the internet is to give a honest, truthful report on their expience at the store in question” and this is mine.

I really wish I was leaving with a tinted car and more than happy to finally be able to have my new car tinted while saving money.

Letter from the owner at A-1 Auto Tint. It is my understanding that the purpose of reviews on the internet is to give a honest, truthful report on their expience at the store in question. Unfortunately, one of our customers from Sept. 15 has choosen to write a review that is not only inaccurate, but is filled with outright lies.

Yes, when cars are first tinted, there is a small amount of water throughout the film that looks like small bubbles everywhere. This always dries very quickly and never returns. Second, none of the windows had jagged or sloppy cuts. I did look at the car in question and felt the tint was applied correctly.

In my experience over the years sometimes for whatever reason we come across customers that aren't happy. After speaking to her on the phone after the first day , I had her come by our shop so we could remove the film and leave the car in original condition. I then gave her a cash refund because i felt no matter what I would do for her, she wouldn't be happy.

At all time I have made myself available, we didn't waste her time and we listened to her concerns.

What i don't understand is write a false and negative review after i had corrected her complaint. Then she lied to make it sound worse!

I run a honest , quality, clean business.It's to bad we can't make everyone happy, but I will make the extra effort to do what I can.

My definition of good value is providing good service with a good job at a great price. If we miss something I would always like to correct it. If at any time you as customers need to reach me, I am always available there to make your visit to our store a pleasent visit. Hope to see you soon! A1 auto window tint-STAY AWAY. Last week I went and had my windows tinted from A1. I spoke with the owner and he assured me that they would do an excellent job, and they have been there for 20 yrs and have lots of experience. When I saw my car, the tint had bubbles EVERYWHERE. I asked them about this and he said they would go away after a while of being in the sun. Well 6 days later they were still there. The back window was the worst of all, there were bubbles everywhere, and the tint wasn't even cut evenly. The other windows were not even also, the edges were jagged. When I called to speak them about it, they said they would re-do it for me. I wanted a refund because I didn't trust them with my car again. They told me this was not possible. I urge anyone who is thinking of going here to STAY AWAY!
