Great Hotel BUT.... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!
Nice & Affordable. The hotel while nothing fancy, was affordable and adequate for my short stay. The staff was friendly, and helpful, and check-in and out was easy and efficient. There are plenty of shopping and restaurants near-by, and the hotel is within minutes of the Tampa airport.
in Flughafennähe zu empfehlen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war in Ordnung, Frühstück für amerikanische Verhältnisse gut
Good, clean budget motel.
I stayed here for two nights for the ACC championship game. Most of the hotel seemed to be fans in town for the game. Did not have any of the problems of some of the negative reviewers below. The night desk clerk was very responsive and even provided us with assistance when some other motel guests tried to steal a cab we had called. Housekeeping was on point.
Everything is close by- lots of restaurants, Longhorn steakhouse practically on-site, even a couple "shoe shows" but the area was more commercial than slummy. Wal-Mart and Best Buy a block away and Raymond James Stadium was only a mile away. All in all I was very pleased with my stay for the price I paid.
Not the Ritz but great for the price. We stayed here prior to our cruise. Our guidlines "if it's got clean sheets and secure" it'll be fine. The hospitality was superb, close to stores, restaurants and it's just a quaint motel. Sure there's a stip joint across the 4 lane street and down the block but never noticed anything out of color. The room was clean and didn't smell. The A/C was adequate and the noise from it wasn't over bearing (like a window unit is). We'd stay here again without any hesitation.

A well-known, mid-priced national and international hotel chain where kids always stay free..
Howard Johnson's story began in 1925, with an ice cream stand that soon became a chain of orange-roofed restaurants, and eventually motor lodges. Today, the hotels offer quality accommodations at value prices for families and business travelers. Comforts of Home amenities include in-room coffeemakers, complimentary weekday newspapers and more. Most locations offer Home Office rooms, with work desks and chairs, and Crayola Kids Rooms, with Crayola easels and accessories, plus a mini-fridge and microwave.
