Great Shop, Great Service. These guys take pride in their work. I found out from the mgmt that negative tips were written by a fired employee. He keeps using the same sentence under different user names. Please when reading reviews and tips, only read the reviews that are specific about an event.

This place is a joke! BBB rated F! The owner knows nothing about cars and the girl running the office is a drug addict! Do not take your car here unless you want it destroyed!

Pete stop is the worst vw shop in st.pete area. I took my vw gti mk3 there with a 1.8t motor already in it all they had to do was to put a megasquirt harness and tune it

i drop of my car in oct 2010 they told me that my car was going be done by nov when called them everytime they always where saying that they working on it when came to see my car it always was sitting there at the same spot it looked like it was never touched on top of that they was asking me when im going to pay the bill of i was okay in week i want to see how long it will take to fix my car and get back on road ,when i payed my bill in full on dec,7,2010 they told me my car was going be done by xmas then they said cuz the holidays migth be for new years when the day come down they told me all bull like there something worng with megasquirt then paid a tunner to llok at it they told me it was working they did not know what they were doing when took the megasquirt there i told it was working fine then they were like ok we will fix then car be done in a week or two i was fine with they called two weeks later it was jan 7,2011 telling me that they cant do it that the megasquirt was bad then i had guy come out and i paid him the guy told them the megasquirt is fine they need to find what posion sersor was it took them one week to do that wich it takes one day ,when they found were it was they where saying we have guy who is coming to take look at it for three weeks i was waiting for that guy to come wich never showed i was to the owner james told him i want my money back cuz i bean waiting this long he tryed give 100 bucks back out 3000 bucks then he towed my car to my house gave me only 150 on top that when i had another shop look at it they told me that wireing was micky mouse work with tabe SO IF ANYONE GOES THERE U NEED WATCH THEM AND DONT PAY UR BILL OFF CUZ THEY WILL NEVER GET UR CAR DONE

Best Subaru techs in town. I took my Subaru Impreza WRX to Pete Stop to have a clutch and flywheel changed, and it came out perfect. Doing a clutch install on an AWD vehicle isn't easy, but these guys totally got the job done -- the first time, and the right way. I've finally found a trustworthy Subaru performance shop that has decent prices. Carter, the mechanic who worked on my Subaru, used to work on jets in the Navy--- talk about a high quality mechanic! If I want anyone working on my Subaru it might as well be the best. Pete Stop Motor Co for the win! A++++++++++++
