The Worst Borscht EVER!. Being of Ukrainian decent, Pierogi, all Eastern European food runs thru my veins. As with many cultures, all have their own family recipes.

I heard of the Pierogi 'Grill'', formerly' Pierogi Palace' from a dear friend.

We vowed to try their pierogis, to see if they matched up to mine & my Mother's.

Also, the place had a write up in the St. Pete Times as an excellent place for Polish food.

I don't know who wrote that article, but they were way off base.

Evidently, the food critic has never been to Chicago, Pittsburgh, Brighton Beach, Warsaw, Zagreb, Kiev and doubt if they ever experienced true, authentic Polish, East European food. Including Borscht, Pierogi & Galumpki. That's not counting Kapusta!

We all have different dialects, spell things different when translated to English.

Due to the fact that I spent many years in the restaurant biz, I'm very critical. I'm also very easy, regarding the servers, traffic, etc. .

I also know how to make most Eastern European dishes, including pierogi.

Good is good.

Bad is bad.

The Pierogi Grill is not bad, it's the WORST!

DO NOT GO! Unless you like eating slop for the hogs.

The food, service, atmosphere is terrible.

We'd throw them out of Chicago, Pittsburgh, Poland and the entire Eastern European Block just for General Purposes.

The Pierogi Grill is truly one of the worst, ill run establishments that I've experienced in my entire life.
