Loving, Caring People

I have been taking my chihuahua to pampered pets for 1 1/2 years for day care. He LOVES it and He loves Sherry and Wanda (the owner and her mother). I trust them to take wonderful care of my dog and they do. He can't wait to go on the days I take him and is never ready to come home. I also used them for boarding when I went on vacation. And they do his nails for me when necessary. These are wonderful people who love and care about dogs. I highly reccommend them to anyone who needs a place to board their dog or doesn't want to leave them home alone all day.

Don't Go To Pampered Pets - Money-Hungry, Short-Cut Takers

I took my toy poodle to Pampered Pets on Platt Street on Wednesday, September 10, 2008. We told Dana that we wanted a lamb cut. Dana told us that that the dog was matted, and that there would be an extra fee. That was fine and understandable.

Rather than doing her job, Dana chose to ignore our request for a lamb cut and she shaved the dog all the way down on the legs and body. In 10 years, my dog has never looked so ridiculous. I could have shaved the dog myself the way Dana did. To add insult to injury, Dana charged $65 for the cut.

I complained to the owner, who refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing or even attempt to satisfy my complaint. She blamed everything on me. I love and take care of my dog, and I also bathe and brush her myself. I have brushed my dog in the condition she was in on Wednesday, many times. It just takes a little love and patience. Not only did Pampered Pets on Platt street lack these attributes, they also lacked professionalism.

Pampered Pets on Platt Street are NOT professional groomers. They are money-hungry, shortcut-takers who do not take pride in their work and who do not care about quality. DO NOT GO TO PAMPERED PETS! I wished I would have never did the Goole search that led to them. Only time can heal the damage they did.
