NOT GOOD. I used these guys under the name Secure Movers in Tampa. In the description it tells you that they are professional, timely, no smoking, uniformed personnel, etc. I talked with Mickey. I also talked with Aleesha who is the assistant. I had a difficult job for them to do (moving one smaller house to a larger house) and the 3 guys that did it, did fairly well with the exception of stopping at a convenience store on my time because I didn't have any water for them. One of the guys asked me not to call Secure Movers for my second move out of a storage unit and to just call him personally. I didn't because I'm a small business owner myself and I don't like when employees attempt to divert jobs. The guys also backed the moving truck into my front yard, ripping the sod from it. They almost couldn't get their truck out. But other than that, and taking much longer than scheduled - it got done and they weren't worse than previous movers we used so I scheduled them to come back to do a simple job - moving from a storage unit to my house. They come back, and it was like they worked in slow motion. A job that took my husband and myself 2 hours took them 4 hours. They had 3 guys (more expensive) when the assistant told me it would be a 2 man job. This time they scratched our wall and they couldn't move a bed into a room that my husband and I ended up doing while they were still there. I called the office while the guys were still there and let them know that I was dissatisfied and they gave me the runaround. Aleesha promised that she would call me back after she spoke with Mickey that next day...that was a week ago! The company has misrepresented itself stating, "Mickey’s team is a dedicated professionally certified team, which prides itself on complete customer satisfaction." That wasn't my experience. Also Mickey lies when he says, “Treat the customer better than the customer expects to be treated.” I didn't expect to be treated the way that I was, and when I complained I essentially got the hand. DO NOT use this moving company.

Secure Movers Inc-5 star movers!. The men Tampa Movers sent were fast and professional. The move went smoothly and I'm really glad I used a 5 star company like Tampa Movers!

Inexperienced, damages. Movers had minimal tools, even when was advised would need them to take apart items. I had to provide some of them. Third worker was a new guy, and useless. I advised the company they would need to move large heavy items, take off doors on house and they just were not prepared at all, even though owner said they would be prepared. They did their best for what they knew how to do being uninformed (and inexperienced), of what they had to move by the owner, but begged me not to tell owner of damages, as the man doing the moving would have to pay for them, and that they don't make a lot of money working for the mover. What does one do with 3 men standing in your house and they say that? Company advertised takes credit cards and announced not accepting any credit cards any longer just days before the move, that someone cheated him, leaving it a short notice to find someone else, yet when asked for more time was not very happy and said "bad timing, that he has a special crew lined up"...some special crew. Owner advertised wraps items when called, but movers didn't want to do it, and said there is a surcharge for it, that was not disclosed. I did report one damage, that was repaired, as it was vital, and I was told the man moving the item would have to pay for it...I complained, so the owner paid and he can do the collecting. There is more, but too much to detail here. It took 2.5 hours longer than the estimate and I left things out of the move listed on the estimate. I don't recommend doing a computer estimate as owner touts as so good.and accurate. Overall a very incorrectly estimated, expensive, bad experience. I would not recommend this company.

mediocre at best. They were available on short notice, which was the only good thing.

Movers smoked on the job and were slow. Move was paid for by the hour. I personally had to assist to speed up the move. Otherwise it would have taken an additional 2-3 hours. In addition to the sloth like pace, there was also a few pieces of damaged furniture. The movers personally called and apologized after the move, which is a small consolation, but when the owner was notified he acted like he cared, but no action was taken. Its been 3 weeks since the move and no offer to fix the furniture has been made. Or at least offer a 5% discount for my troubles. For a 2 bedroom apt move it took 5 hours and cost $650. Definitely not worth it. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

They also go by Tampa Movers and a few other names.

Probably easier to change names a few times after you get a bad reputation.

Choose carefully when you move.

Dear Mickey and Company, and I don't mean the Disney World Mickey!



Yours is no Mickey Mouse company. I had other moving companies come to my house and give me an estimate which wasn't much different than the estimates I got over the phone. They were half of what I expected. That told me they didn't know what they were doing or expected to get the job by low balling then hit me with the real amount at the end. I did my own estimate as I have moved several times. Even I was wrong.



Mickey, your estimate was $76 over what you quoted, which was a miracle. I didn't realize just how much stuff I had squirreled away in pockets around that house. Your guys finished my packing, taking care to insulate rather than to just cover my precious items. I had been collecting stuff for many years and have chosen carefully. Every piece I own arrived to my new home intact, unscratched and all accounted for.



Let's move on the my most precious piece...my baby grand piano. I demanded professional care to be taken and your staff took greater care than I expected. At first I was watching over my baby grand like a mother hen. When I saw the care that was being given I walked away but not without peeping thru the blinds to see if they would cut corners if they thought I wasn't watching. No dice. They weren't even aware of me lurking in the background in the first place and most certainly didn't see me hiding in the bushes watching thru the curtains. They were all involved in the business at hand.



The most interesting thing was the creative way they hit the road with my lawn furniture strapped to the back of the truck like the Beverly Hillbillies!!! I wanted it to go and they made it fit! I could have come back for it but they insisted it make the trip.



I followed that truck and laughed the entire two hour trip to my new home.



When we got to the new house your guys practically ran unloading and setting up the new house. It was late and I was so exhausted after packing for a week, looking for a new home, arranging the movers and cleaning the old house that by the time we got to the new house I wanted to just lie down and cry. I could have easily done that because the fellas unloaded that truck and took direction from me while I was practically flat on my face in the front yard. When I thought I couldn't hold myself up anymore I asked the guys to just get it all off the truck, in the garage and go home. They did.

I must admit that there are not many things that impress me; however, I was quite impressed with Secure Movers. The gentlemen that moved my family were very personal, yet professional. They used the utmost care in moving my furniture and other personal items. I was quite amazed at their techniques for completing the move. The price that I was quoted was the price that I paid. It is a difficult task to find honest contractors that will do as they promise, without attempting to scam the consumer in some type scheme or play on words. Secure Movers even did a follow up to see how the move went. I will refer Secure Movers to all of my clients for their moves.
