Owner needs some manners!. Owner is a jerk with no manners and should get his facts straight before humiliating a customer in his bar! Our party ordered dinner and drinks in the bar area. A friend and I asked for a glass of water with our meal. The waitress informed us that she was not allowed to serve us water, but there is bottled water available for purchase.

When my husband finished his dinner, I handed him 2 empty glasses that had been left on the table in case we wanted to share our pitcher of beer and asked him to go inside and get my friend and I a glass of water. A man filled up both glasses and my husband brought them back to our table.

Later in the evening, this same man, who I later learned is the owner, came out into the crowded bar and started yelling at my husband about the water. Because my Mother raised me with manners, I did not stoop to his level and yell back.

My husband had no idea that my friend and I had asked the waitress about water. My firends and I were appalled by this rudeness.

Best Fod on the Beach???????"?. Madi Gras , at the Blue Parrot was nice weather . The music was Great A Dixie Land Band .But , some one should tell them never to try Cajun foods again. The Gumbo , was terrible not soup but some chicken and Andouille on dry white rice served with a fork.

The Jambalaya was on dry white rice , In Louisiana we cook all the

Ingredients together .

When people tell me they don't like Cajun foods ,I tell them You've never had any .

Too , bad they miss opportunity to serve some

PS: there are thousand of recipes on the Internet .

And Pinellis is home to one of the Worlds best cooking schools .

Shame on you!

Blue Parrot lost it's feathers tonight. After ordering the special, seafood lasagna, it was served cold. The waitress returned it to the kitchen to be heated. When it came back to the table, the cheese was now on the bottom and burned. It was so tough that a knife could not even cut it. Tough lasagna???? Really???

The waitress was very unconcerned too. When we pointed out that there was something very hard to cut through in the lasagna, she actually took the knife and fork, poked through the food, and then said it was the cheese that could not be cut. After someone plays with my food, I do not expect to eat it. Unbelievable and unheard of. Even though the meal was not edible, FULL PRICE WAS CHARGED EVEN AFTER THE COMPLAINT!!!

I have been here before and not been too impressed but wanted to give it another try...but this is certainly my last visit and will never recommend it to my local friends or visitors.

Really enjoyed my experience at the Blue Parrot!. My friend from Austin, TX recommended that I try the Blue Parrot in St Pete beach. Her cousin lives in the area, frequently visited this establishment, and always had a great experience. So I tried it for lunch. It's a cute place, located on the water right off the Corey Causeway. Our waitress was very pleasant and provided excellent service. I thought the Carribean Spring Rolls on the menu was very unique...Chicken, Plantains, Black Beans, Cheese & Grilled Chilies with Rasberry Sauce. Within a few minutes, it arrived at the table and was delicious! I also ordered the Seafood Bisque soup and it was just as good. My friend ordered Coconut Crusted Shrimp and a Homemade Meatball Sandwich, which I understand is the owner's special recipe. My friend said that it was fantastic. But I have to say that the NY Rasberry Cheesecake was the best I've ever tasted...and I've tasted quite a few! They have specials every day of the week and live music most evenings...and what a variety of genres. I can't wait to go back and enjoy the music, in addition to the food, next time.
