Best Seafood in the area. Rusty Bellies has the best seafood BY FAR in the area. Fresh and delicious with a great casual atmosphere. Great food and great service. Best food at the sponge docks!

worth the wait. B/c of the 1 hr wait I had the opportunity to share several apps with my family and when dinner came I ate a bit a packed the rest to go. The food was awesome. Our server was Kelly, very cute and great service :)

Another personal favorite!. Rusty Bellies is tucked back at the end of Dodecanese Blvd. They have an outside patio deck overlooking the water. We've always had prompt and friendly service. My hubby enjoys the grouper nuggets and I like their Greek salad. The hush puppies are a great started while you enjoy the view and waterfront breeze. It's very relaxing!

Drop your sponges and go!!!. Finally! A restaurant in the Clearwater area that has good food and service. My mother (who has lived in Clearwater for over 20 years) and I visited recently and were both extremely happy. Although the location is adjacent to a fish store and surrounded by fishing vessels the restaurant looked and smelled clean. The service was prompt, cheerful and attentive. Best of all - the food was outstanding. Mom says the best grouper she has had in a very long time. Complimentary hush puppies come to the table when you are seated - yummy! Not the hard doughballs you may be used to but slightly sweet and piping hot. Inventive salad dressing such as mango chardonay. Interesting sides such as corn casserole - kind of like a bread pudding prepared with creamed corn and cornbread. And the fish - out of this world in both freshness and preparation. Even this New Englander loved the supple scallops and briney shrimp. Excellent value. Ample quantities. Casual atmosphere. Great location.

Best Grouper ever had at a restuarant!. I never write reviews but I just had to give this one a review. My husband and I ordered the fried grouper sandwiches and the grouper was so fresh. It was amazing. My kids loved the chicken fingers and french fries. Service was great. Will definitely go again. We went on a Sunday night and it was a little slow which was perfect for the kids. They said Friday and Saturday nights they can get slammed.
