I Love Leah!. I've been coming to the Elkae Salon on East Bay Drive for just under 2 years now and my hair has never been healthier! I have super-fine hair that always fell flat and lifeless due in part to genetics and partly because of over-processing/heat styling. Now I have Leah (my AWESOME certified master stylist!) making sure we gently color my hair as to not damage. She really understands my hair and cuts it in such a way that I look like I have more hair (Leah does an AMAZING job with my fine hair). She always takes the time to understand what I want before doing anything and is sure that I like it when she's finished. Leah takes the time to show me what products would work for me and explains how to incorporate them into my daily routine. I highly recommend the deep conditioning treatments - it will do wonders for your hair. It's definitely worth the extra $!!!!

Always a great cut.
Leah has been cutting my hair for about a year and she's the best stylist I've had. I've never had a bad cut and receive lots of nice compliments.
We moved from Clearwater to Tampa but my wife and I still drive to Elkae because of what a fantastic job she does.
We highly recommend Elkae!

WASTED $$$ all those years!!!!!. I love Elkae Salon! I have had my color & hi-lights done here plenty of times but always had another girl who did my extensions for years, well I just had them redone by Leah, and they are BEAUTIFUL! You can't even tell its hair extensions, they are so much lighter on my head and the hair itself feels just like mine! I am so glad to find someone like Leah, who can put them in and shape the layers I need! I've had extensions for years and only wish I would have been referred to Elkae Salon sooner. Now I feel like ALL my money was wasted in the past. Thanks Leah for my new look! See you in a couple weeks!

Easter Holiday Hair Must-See. I have spent the last couple of weeks searching for a new hair salon. I have done alot of my research right here on CitySearch, too. Leah's cuts are the PERFECT solution to boring hair! I received my first GLOBAL KERATIN treatment, too. She was wonderfully informative throughout the entire process and my hair looks silky smooth & beautiful! My hair has not felt this beautiful since I was much younger. I am going to look great for Easter with my family and friends. Try Elkae Salon, for a much welcomed change and THANK YOU CitySearch.

INDESCRIBABLE!. INDESCRIBABLE! I love my new style! I am very hard to please......but, I can't stop looking at my hair in the mirror, thanks to Leah(she makes me feel great about myself) correcting my color and shaping my new hair design. Leah had brought out my natural highlights. The Elkae Salon staff does continuing education and uses professional hair products. These 2 factors alone should entice anyone wanting a new style or color to try this salon. Leah will be my #1 pick for years to come.

Best Hair Salon in LARGO.. Best Hair Salon in LARGO. The stylists at Elkae Salon are as professional with there craft as you can get. I've trusted their professional hair stylists with my beauty and they always exceed all of my expectations. The stylists always make me feel special. The clientele always makes me feel welcomed. I would and do recommend this hair salon to any/all of my aquantances/friends. True professionalism and knowledge in Largo.

Fixed the WORST haircut!!!!. Leah Saved My Hair!!! First, I have to say, this salon is FANTASTIC!! I just moved here from Miami. I'm new in town & had gotten - just a few hours prior - the WORST haircut of my life at a "top-rated" national chain salon. I called Elkae Salon and literally hours later Leah, fixed my awful haircut and did so with a smile! I will definitely be back in 6 weeks - highly recommended!!

LOVE THIS SALON!!!!!. LOVE THIS SALON! I have been going here for over a year... Happened to stumble upon it when I lived on West Bay Drive. Leah, my stylist is AMAZING! She is Certified Master Stylist- understands how my hair grows, so she cuts each side of my head different to get an even cut. She is the first stylist who takes that into consideration when cutting. I've had my hair colored 4 times, and every time it has been the best color. The salon is very spacious and clean. My Keratin Treatment worked wonders for my hair. I have RECOMMENDED my mother (who got a color, cut, and blow out). She has curly hair, and I have NEVER seen her hair look so GORGEOUS. My girlfriend, got a cut, highlight/low light, and blow out, and her hair was black before... Can we say BOMBSHELL, after?! Better hurry and have your hair done at ELKAE SALON with Leah today!!!!

A Rare Gem!!!. I love Elkae Salon! I am hesitant to mention ( only because I want to keep her all to myself), Leah is a rare gem among thousands of hair stylists. Not only is she incredibly talented and beautiful she is well versed in the latest styles/hair design trends but she is also a truly down to earth, friendly lady who will actually listen & provide valuable input to ensure you are really happy with the end result. Hair appointments can be stressful, but not when you're at Elkae Salon. Never again will I trust these locks to anyone else...Leah-4-Ever!!!!!

Compliments the last few days!!!!!.
I never review a salon until at least a few days after my haircut. I find that it gives me time to more accurately access how it looks and functions in my everyday life. Well, I'm happy to report that I love my haircut just as much now as when I had it done last week.
The MGMT here were able to fit me in for a next day haircut appointment without any problems. I loved the convenience of not having to make an appointment a week or two before I could actually be seen. When I got there, I was happy to discover that there is plenty parking available.
The salon itself is quaint. Leah was great. She was friendly and really translated my unclear ramblings into a great cut. I've gotten tons of compliments on it. I'm definitely going to be back.
