Great Movers. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO POSITIVE REVIEWS!!

I am in a supervisor in a quality assurance based industry for a very large national corporation. This is why I want to be loud and clear with my true and factual review and wanted to immediately share my wonderful experience that I had with this Big Boys Moving Company and my movers on this day.

I recently used Big Boys Moving & Storage for a local Tampa Bay move. I was very pleased and overly impressed with the efficiency and effectiveness exhibited that day by both the movers and the company management. I did not at any point in time think to myself they were not moving fast enough, or ‘get off your phone’ or ‘what are you doing’ – all of the things one would be concerned about when using a new company. They evaluated my move and told me what I could expect financially. As soon as that was done I witnessed them very quickly put together an action plan to execute, versus just winging it as they went along which would take more time, costing me more money.

They organized exactly how they would perform this move to get it done as fast as possible both safely (for them and my possessions) and in a timely fashion. They were courteous, polite, and mindful of the surroundings. They never used vulgar language or discussed inappropriate topics in my presence. They helped make what was already a tiresome event into a pleasant transition. I recommend this company.

Big Boys Moving completed my move last night and I couldn't wait to get back online to tell everyone about my wonderful experience.

I had an emergency flood situation and called Big Boys at the last minute. They sent a truck out quickly and the movers were experienced and well prepared.

These guys really knew what they were doing and moved me fast. I inspected everything with no damages.

The price was right and services was better than expected. My apartment complex gave me their card and say they only use Big Boys and now I know why. I highly recommend this company to all. Great job.

By far Big Boys are the best movers I have ever used. These BIG BOYS are THE BEST MOVERS that you will find in Tampa Bay! From price to professionalism you surely will be happy.

They moved me a little over a year ago and I just moved again getting the exact same result.

These BIG movers arrived with a BIG truck and after the move was done I got the same BIG savings as I did A YEAR AGO!

I always refer and tell everybody about them and all of the people in my office use them. I read some of the bad reviews and theres NO WAY that the stuff they say can be true. Night and day differences!



Some of these gotta be a mistaken cuz I personally know that the BIG BOYS rock! Thanks again for my exceptional, stress free move.

PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!!

WORST MOVERS WE’VE DEALT WITH!!! We hired Big Boys for professional labor assistance. This was a horrible mistake that we did not realize until it was too late. Their overall communication is poor, managerial intervention is non-existent (when needed), the website is misleading, their professionalism is lacking, important policies are not clear (when to pay, etc.), and once their services were complete they did not respond to any concerns we had. After reading other reviews of this company, it makes us wonder who posted the positive ones (the company?). All of the negative ones are SPOT ON! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE, TIME, MONEY, AND EFFORT BY NOT DEALING WITH BIG BOYS!!!

This company is a scam! They "gave" me a flat rate of $1039 with no hidden fees on the telephone. I paid a $500 deposit to "hold" the day for the move. The movers were late. The truck they showed up in did not even say Big Boy Movers, it said Move Doctors. They did not come to my home to do an inventory and ended up sending a truck that was too small. It took the movers 6 hours to load up only half of my belongings. We had to rent and load an additional 20 foot uhaul. The movers arrived and even before opening the back door to the truck, presented me with another contract that miraculously said it would only take them 3 hours to finish the project. To my amazement, they were finished in 3 hours!!!! The movers were usually illegal drugs on my property and stealing my food. Their "boss" was extremely unprofessional and threatened to take my stuff. I had to threaten to call the police and was forced into signing another contract. My bill was over by $500 and that did not include the tip or the uhaul. I was quoted by other moving companies for much less than what this company ended up charging me. The movers informed me that their boss does this all the time to people. This is how he runs his company. RUN!!

The two "Big Boy's" who turned up to handle our move were more like undernourished high school boys. I have never before heard a mover declare "This is too heavy for me to lift". A move that was supposed to take six hours took nearly nine and ended with me having to rent a pickup truck to complete the move they walked away from. I'm approaching 60 and I move faster and lift more weight than these two. From late morning what we heard was "We're losing money on this". We called the company who said they were sending a supervisor. No supervisor ever came. In the end, the movers demanded payment before unloading a partially filled second load while the other half of the loade remained at the old adress. They told us they were finished and would move no more. When we refused payment until all of the furniture had been moved, they drove away with our funiture. There is some serious damage to both buildings and to the furniiture. The Big Boys office says the "that's normal" and the movers are responsible for their own damages. The saga continues..........

True professionals! Please note that I called Big Boys Moving and Storage only 4 short days before moving from Tampa to Chicago (I was burned by another company that did not show and this was a last minute call of desperation).

Not only did Big Boys provide me with a GREAT and exact amount quote, they accommodated me with an exclusive truck - this is NOT common for long distance moves (as I have moved MANY times before).

Big Boys also provided their own fully uniformed employees as opposed to outside contracted movers. Their service was EXCELLENT - efficient, professional and their office even returned my (after hours) calls of concern.

About THE BIG BOYS: They maintained their professionalism at all times and went above and beyond to ensure that my items were well wrapped and packed. It was also great to have the SAME movers who unassembled, packed and transported my items and entire home, deliver them with extra special care.

No other company would guarantee the same movers nor would they guarantee an exact delivery day but Big Boys DID! The best is that I had nothing damaged! Big Boys Moving and Storage are the best and I recommend them to all!

Horrible company My move was. Horrible company

My move was scheduled for today and somehow they lost my information. I callled in and they stated that they have fired the lady who took my order and that they cant help me. DONT GO HERE - we have to move today and they could care less about our concern.

Big Boys - Best move and movers I have ever experienced. Big Boys Moving & Storage et al, My experience with your company and specifically your four move crew members Steve, Joe, James and Anthony was very, very positive. These gentlemen were real workers, professional movers that exceeded my desire for work capacity. They were on time, clean, friendly and accommodating. They are the epitome of proper movers. Over my 27 years in the Army, I have seen every facet of mover and personally accomplished 13 moves myself. Without doubt, these men were the BEST movers I've ever had to move my family. They were Safe, Effective and Efficient and that is what I have told every one of my friends and co-workers. In my line of work we have monetary incentives for such workers. I strongly recommend these four men receive the maximum merit based incentive. They have earned my trust and my loyalty for your company. Avoid. Scam artists!

Showed up the day of the move and asked for an additional $1000 for a mistake they made. Now they are trying to keep my deposit, because I didn't want to pay an additional $1000 to cover their incompetency. Unbelievable!
