7 months pregnant and very happy with this office

I have been a patient of Women's Care Florida for about 6 months. I started at another office and transfered to the location on Parsons Park Drive. There are several doctors practicing here, and they explain to you from the get go that you will get a chance to meet with as many of them as possible so that you'll have met the person delivering your child. I would rather have a "backup" physician that I have met rather than have my doctor be on vacation and get stuck with someone brand new.

My favorite person at this office is Alice Honniker, who is actually a Registered Nurse Practitioner. She makes you feel so comfortable and will be very straight with you and answer all your questions, which is really nice. Dr. Jones is also very nice and helpful.

I have never had any problems with the staff at this location. The woman who did our ultrasounds was very helpful, as is the front office staff. Sometimes the wait to check out can be very long (depending on how many people are waiting) and sometimes its less than 5 minutes.

I am about to start the childbirth classes there (free!) and I will probably have an update about my experiences within the next couple of months.

Didn't care for their service

First time in Florida to see a gynecologist so didn't have anyone ask around for a good doctor. So I just picked this place but I really didn't care for the service offered from the staff or the doctors. My concerns were completely dismissed and I was told to come back in a year when I could bring them back up again. Thanks for helping me decide never to go back there again. Take your money and go someplace where the doctor's actually care about your concerns and health because this is not the place.

Horrible doctors

These doctors are terrible. They see too many people a day to care about spending more than 5 minutes with you after you just waited a hour. A month before I was due they were already asking me to set a date to be induced. On my last visit there Dr. Armas took it upon himself to seperate my membranes when doing a vaginal exam. The day I delivered my son two doctors were on call and neither of them attended the birth.

If it was possible I would give them no stars.

Awful service

I am a new mom and this was my first time at the Brandon office. The woman who took my sonogram was extremely ignorant and rude. I asked her a prengancy question and she chewed my head office replying, "I am a NOT doctor! I don't know what to tell you... I just do the ultrasounds." She could have said it in a more respectful tone, opposed to talking down to me like I was dirt. Then I meet the doctor, she wasn't friendly at all. She didn't even shake my hand. She seemed more concerned with getting my out of the office and not concerned with my problem after I asked her several questions about it. The problem was common I guess, but she just was so cold and uncaring with her answer. The woman didn't even smile. OB/GYN Associates has been a horrible experience, thus far. And if my next visit is as bad as my first I am definately switching to a different women's care health center. Thank you.I am a new mom and this was my first time at the Brandon office. WORTHLESS

This is the practice to visit if you want to be treated like cattle. Do NOT expect good or even average care. The care is superficial, so you better hope that you do not develop complications because they will either ignore them or pawn you off to another practice. But not until they wait until the last minute to take your money. They will also ignore your concerns, questions and requests. They will refuse to perform any procedure that they deem "unnecessary" even if you ask for it. They will also refuse to give you an order or prescription to have the procedure done elsewhere if they deem it "unnecessary". And when tragedy strikes they will make themselves scarce and dissapear just when you need them the most. It could mean your baby's life so please think twice before choosing this practice.
