I've been going to Belmora to get my hair done for years (Geri is the best in town!). Everyone is always really friendly and professional, and the salon is cute and clean. On my last visit I also had a Brazilian. I'd had one done with wax before and was a little nervous, but the sugar they use was fantastic! I'll never go back to waxing and I'll never go anywhere but Belmora. :-)

GREAT SALON!!! Highly recommend for all services! Samira in particular is an excellent stylist- so so sweet and does an amazing job for a reasonable price. Definitely a beauty spot you want to check out!!

Walk-ins welcome! This is a very cute, cozy and clean salon with fantastic hair stylists and is easily accessible right off I-275. Samira is a very experienced stylist and new to the salon so she's usually available when you're in a time crunch! She does a fantastic job and is so sweet. Highly recommend this place!

I was really scared to get a brazilian done, as i have had bad experiences with waxing before. I did some research on the sugar wax... bacteria doesnt spread in the pots, and its more gentle on the skin, so i decided to try it out. As soon as I walked into Belmora, I was immediately put at ease. The service provider was extremely professional , and the place was clean and spotless! I already booked my next appointment, and this is the only place in Tampa I will go for hair removal!

Get your Brazilian done here!!!. DO NOT GO HERE FOR HAIR REMOVAL!!!!!!!! The sugar wax is highly UNSANITARY because the therapists "double dip" with will little to no regard that hair removal in the genital region involves blood borne pathogens. I previously wrote a glowing review on this salon as it is one of the few places in Tampa that offers sugaring. Sugaring, as a hair removal procedure, has the ability to be the most sanitary practice out there if practiced in a sanitary way.

Generally, sugaring involves a ball of sugar (one per client) that is spread on the skin and then the hair is removed. Once finished, the ball is thrown away. Where one gets into problems is when sugaring is applied with a spatula and then removed with strips in a similar fashion to waxing, especially when therapists double dip. Should spatulas that touch your anal area be re-dipped into a communal pot? I think not! Neither wax nor sugar is hot enough or contains ingredients that will keep bacteria, viruses, or fungi from spreading among client. Not only did the therapist double-dip but she also argued about how it was not a health issue in the same breath as saying that many of the people who come in are not clean "down there" and bleed profusely.

News flash people: Double-dipping is unsanitary and there is a ton of research out there that proves this. Take five seconds and google it, if you have doubts. Do not trust your health to this place. Smooth skin is not worth the risk of cross-contamination (think HPV, Herpes, Staph etc.). Don't let ANYONE tell you that this is not risk. And, for the record, spatulas cost less than a penny so there is NO EXCUSE for therapists to continue this unsafe practice. As a licensed skin care therapist / hair removal professional, I warn you to walk, no RUN, far, far away from this place. Do not get a Brazilian here. Ever.

Makes me feel like I'm fabulous, every time!. Whenever I'm having a bad day I try to get in here. The staff is so kind and sweet, they make me feel like a million bucks. And they make me look good, too!

I love the facials and hot stone massage when I need some pampering, and I go to the stylists there regularly, as do my kids. It's never too soon to teach them the benefits of a professional salon cut.

They always have a new product for me to try, as well, staying on the cutting edge of salon and spa treatments. The decor is beautiful, and it even smells good!

Awesome experience, upscale salon, super friendly staff. I was so surprised to find such a great salon in carrollwood, I had always had to go to south tampa to find a salon like this. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and the hair stylists were very hip. I was recommended to try the salon by a girl I had asked about her hair color. I was given exactly what I had asked for. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for great customer service. They staff couldn't do enough for me, I had some pretty specific requests and they came through.

Best Brazilan/bikini wax I have ever had!! Gorgeous salon. I will never go anyplace else for my Brazilians!!. Beautiful salon, Best brazilan bikini wax I have ever had. They use a sugar wax that is not painfull at all!! I saw a segment on channel 10 news on this salon regarding the sugaring and how much better it is than waxing. I am so glad I did. The staff is so professional and nice. Gorgeous decor inside.
