Stay away from A Sureway Driving Scholl. Everything was fine until the day of the driving test. The instructor, a guy by the name of Bernard, picked up my wife and said to me and my wife "we would practice for about three hours before the test." Shortly before the test, Bernard said to my wife "you are not ready. If you take the test now, you will fail". Bernard went ahead and re-scheduled the test for a later time without my wife's consent. He even asked my wife for additional $350 to pay for the three practice hours and had the nerve to recommend more lessons for additional $300. When my wife declined all of this, Bernard even asked my wife for gas money. Four hours into the day, my wife never took the test and she owed Bernard $350. Of course I contacted Bernard and demanded an explanation as to why we owed him $350. He stated that he forgot to mention to me when he picked up my wife early in the morning that the practice hours were not free. I said to Bernard that I was going to speak to the owner Mr. Russo. I called the main number, left a message and to this date, two weeks later, no one has had the decency to return my call to discuss the incident with Bernard; and I can't wait for Bernard to try call me to collect his money. I definitely do not recommend this school. Just stay away from A Sureway Driving School

Wow - what a SCAM. The first driving instrustor was terrible and said that our exchange student was a great driver! She went on to fail the driving test twice at the DMV. Scheduling problems, the instructor even seemed to be drunk on during one session. After she failed the second time I called them back and Sal offered two free lessons because of all the trouble. The driving instructor did one lesson, after the second lesson he stopped in the middle of the lesson and demanded payment. He said Sal didnt tell him it was a free lesson. When I called Sal he denied it and threatened to have the driving licence suspended for non payment. This guy is a joke!! Avoid at all costs!!

Rude and Unprofessional. I left a voicemail asking for more info.

“Mr. Peterson” called me back and made his presentation describing the packages he offers. At the end, he finally indicated that they charge $349 / 6 hours !!! He then right away asked when to start.

I responded that I am currently shopping around for a school that offers reasonable prices.

He replied suggesting that he has an instructor that can stop by with a bicycle and teach how to ride a bicycle for $14/hr.

How can he hope getting customers with such sarcasms? With such a behavior, it’s a “Sure Way” to steer away potential customers.

If you’re looking for a school to get driving lessons, stay away from this one. They are more schools in Tampa that offer courses with professionalism and regards for new students, with prices that are at least $100 cheaper than the price of this rude & unprofessional school.

Avoid this school. This school is horrible! On one occasion the driver did not show up for a lesson (my daughter waited all day) and when i called to find out what happened, the man told me that she was not scheduled. meanwhile HE scheduled it for me. He then yelled at me and told me to let it go and move on. So I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and rescheduled on what happened to be the day of the so-called hurricane. Since we weren't affected by it, I called to make sure my daughter's lesson was still on. He once again, yelled at me and said "lady, there's a hurricane outside! Are you crazy! Take a look outside! OMG! What's wrong with you?" So I told him I wanted my money back cause he was very rude. He said ok, and cashed the check anyway (over a week later!) Now I am fighting to get my money back. My daguther only had 1 lesson from them and I am will give them the money for that one but that's all. Like I said, this school is horrible!
