MMMMM Mojitos!. My husband and I go to Tinatapas for dinner before concerts and then Splitsville after concerts as part of our date night ritual and I have to say that the Mojitos there are to die for! Not even considered one of their specialties (margartias and sangria are) they make a refreshing mojito every time. My husband orders the bleu cheese filet everytime and everytime he raves about it. I love the salmon and the calamari. We both like all of the salads. There is not much for the kids, but our kids like the chicken skewers, rice and french fires with chive dip. But that's ok because we try to save Tinatapas as a date place and not bring the kids anyhow!

good margaritas, lame food. While the atmosphere is nice, I can't think of many nice things to say about Tinatapa's except that the margaritas are tasty and reasonably priced. Their chicken was overcooked and poorly seasoned, the patatas fritas were fries with a really disappointing dip, and the grilled vegetables were not seasoned at all and came with about a tenth of the balsamic dressing they needed. Not impressed. Won't be going back. Not sure what people like about this place unless they finished the whole pitcher of margaritas before ordering.

Food was good overall. The plates are really for a party for no more than 4 to share. So for larger parties will need to double up to have a taste.

Best Tapas in Tampa. Tinatapa's at Channelside, fun location for a great restaurant. The food was awesome! Hard to decide which tapas to have because all of the menu sounded so good but what we did pick was great. Try the pollo y chorizo and don't get too full to skip out dessert. Try two of them - the churros and the budino cake!
