Absolutely best burgers!!. every so often i will get maggies burger, its sooo delicious. the best burger around.

Very unwelcoming to little children!. I was in Maggie Mae's on Sand Key in Clearwater today for lunch with my sister-in-law and two nieces. I live in the area, they are visiting. She had been in yesterday and had such a wonderful experience, even raved about it last night, that she decided to take me there today. Let me just tell you that I am still reeling from the attitude we received. We both ordered entrees, and she ordered an entree for her two-year old. We assumed the restaurant was family friendly judging from the casual atmosphere and location. Boy were we wrong. My nieces are one and two, and like most youngsters their ages, are somewhat messy. When our server saw food on the floor, she groaned loudly not once, not twice, BUT THREE TIMES. She started mumbling under her breath, and then said something to another server, who began staring at us and saying things we could not hear. We left a 30% tip since the girls had made a bit of a mess, and when we got up to leave, the server just looked at us...didn't say a word...not thank you or goodbye or anything. Her attitude and treatment was EXTREMELY unpleasant and unwarranted. The mess was not any more than I'm certain 99% of little ones make. I have never felt so awkward and unwelcome in a restaurant in my life. The food was very good, and it's a shame that the service didn't come close to matching the quality of food. If they don't want children in their restaurant, they need to make that clear...don't offer high chairs or whatever restaurants do to dissuade parents from bringing children. Hope this review helps anyone with kids avoid this place.
