Terrible

by kc1174 at Citysearch

Food was uncooked, greasy and cross contaminated, so we sent it back. Drunk owner came over and told us to pay for what we sent back or he would call the police. On my girlfriend's birthday too. I paid for what we ate and left and he left us with an "f you". Never again. Never again.

OMG, FOOD WAS INEDIBLE

by Yorkid at Citysearch

I ordered a steak medium with no seasoning and two vegetables. Steak was well done with a nasty sauce on it. Vegetables were undercooked and cold. The table beside me didn't eat their steaks either. I ate nothing. Cost me $30 for a glass of water. Service was terrible, too.

Going down hill....

by James Kellogg at Citysearch

I've been coming to this place for years. It seems to be getting worse and worse. They have menu items on their menu that they don't even carry, the food took forever and they weren't even busy. Their so called "team service" is a joke as we had no clue who our server really was. We got an introduction and the next time we saw that person it was to pick up the check. We also ordered a bottle of wine that they were out of...After the 4th try we finally got a bottle of wine that we really didn't really care for because they were out of what seemed to be a lot of things. We asked to see a manager and it was "one" of our servers. The next person to see what someone in the kitchen that was too busy to come see us. Good luck, we've moved on.

Exceptional value and top quality products!

by RHCN at Citysearch

I have been going to Catch Twenty-Three in Westchase for many years and feel it is the one restaurant in Tampa that truly offers you a wide variety of not just food but value.

Whether you are interested in a reasonable meal out with the family, a business engagement, a date or special occasion, Catch has it all. The best thing about Catch Twenty-Three is that you can go there on any budget and still enjoy a great upscale yet casual atmosphere. Be it a top of the line steak and lobster dining experience or their $3.99 burger night every Monday, it is the one restaurant in Tampa where you get to plan your budget and are not be held hostage to a high end only menu.

The service has consistently been good, the top quality meat and seafood are prepared fresh and they have many signature and specialty items to select from. They have nightly specials, great happy hour prices and a fun environment in a great location.

Their Grouper Tacos, Shredded Pork, signature Angus Burger or selection of Flat Bread’s offer great opportunities to enjoy top quality food for under $9.00. Their Macadamia Encrusted Sea Bass is the best I have ever had, they have among the most beautifully presented steaks I have ever seen and their sushi rivals that of many of the well known Japanese specialty restaurants in Tampa.

I highly recommend Catch Twenty-Three in the heart of West Park Village for either an exceptionally priced meal at their upscale bar or a terrific dining experience and top quality dinner at a corner table or on their deck!

Food was good, Service was TERRIBLE

by fleurdelisa at Citysearch

Is there anything that can ruin a good meal more than bad service? It was pretty empty when my happy hour group started to arrive. The first round of drinks came fairly quickly, but bread was dumped at our table with no silverware, plates, or napkins. We were not checked on for quite a while. We started to walk to the bar to get drink refills, because otherwise, it took 15 minutes after requesting one. The second group that came in to meet us received their food order before bread or utensils came out. The manager didn't seem to mind that we were disappointed.

  • Pros: Food was tasty
  • Cons: SLOW SLOW SLOW and BAD SERVICE
