Tourists Delight

Every time I come to St. Petersburg, I have to get over to Uhuru to see what's new. There are a lot of antique shops and thrift stores in St. Pete but none come close to Uhuru. I always find something, even if I go back again after a few days. Love your staff. Love you're for human rights for the black community. Nobody does it like you!!!

Always a great deal!

I really like stopping by Uhuru Furniture on Saturday afternoons. The staff is never too busy to help me find what I need, and they'll even put my name on a list to keep an eye out for specialty items (a specific type of lamp, desk, etc...) so I can be the first one to find out when it comes in!! I also like shopping at a non-profit store, and knowing that every dollar I spend at Uhuru Furniture is put to good use right here in St. Pete.

a real treasure in st. pete

what a great find! this little store always has new items coming in - unique furniture and all kinds of smaller items - everyday. the prices are amazing and the people that you work there and that shop there are so great - it's a terrific environment. and it's even better to know that when you buy there you are supporting social justice for the black community. i really feel like part of the community by shopping there. Uhuru Furniture & Collectibles is truly a treasure in st. pete!
